The Spider-Man 3 First Look Thread [Merged]

oh yeah, the shot of spider-man swinging over the people was beautiful. I've been dieing to see more grounds eye views of spider-man in action since the first movie. there's just something about those shots that make it look like it could ACTUALLY happen, which in turn, makes things that much amazing.

he was winging to slow for my taste. i dont know. i can enjoy spiderman very much. a lot to be honest. but tehre will always be something in the back of my head that will tell me that it just doesnt look right.
the way spiderman swings in 2 and 3(what i saw in the trailers and previews) looks just wrong. it looks like the back of the web in on on hte building but in the air. it looks like the angles are all wrong depenging on spiderman and the city.
i dont know. and i think it has nothing to do that this is not finished. i just think that sam and sony never wanted to make spiderman swinging look real. what i mean real is that they would try testing some stuff. like how would it look in real life. then using this and use the imagination to make it faster and more cooler. i am talking about sueprman returns and matrix reloaded and revolutions. directors used motion capture to get a sense of how would this look in real life. then made a CGI character and used teh movement and make it more faster and cooler.

Well if he swang(or is is swung? I dont know.) faster with the same lenght of webbing in that shot, I dont think it would obey the laws of physics very well. However, I do think he sometimes swings upwords a little too high sometimes. The longer webbing, the longer it takes him to get from the begining of his swing to the end and that shot has a pretty long web in it.

How is it that you think the end of his web is just touching the air? It looks like it's attached to the corner of the building to me.

exactly. everyone on these board are excited for SM3, even the damn trolls. who knows how many dreams I've had where it was May 4, and I was watching SM3. but i don't come into the forum and make senseless posts or repeat myself constantly. the above is from just today...AFTER he said he would try to "post better", whatever the hell that means.

sigh, i don't think the trolls from the SM1 days, parker and freddie, were this annoying. at least they brought something new to the table.

Let's get passed the SM12 scenario. There's been much talk about it, and in my opinion, all the bickering about him is "getting old", "not bringing anything new to the table", and "a repetation of what has been posted before".

Just drop this whole fiasco. Move on, people. It's not that hard to do.

That's what I'm talking about. I may not be the biggest fan of Venom, although still like him. But there is no way in hell if I was the director/Sony/Marvel would I kill Eddie Brock. Unless, I woke up one day and absolutely hated MONEY. And yes, Carnage would also be a huge boost to the franchise, I don't care who claims they don't like him, you put Venom and Carnage in a Spidey film and that's HUGE MONEY.

I always assumed the buildings he was swinging off of in the final swinging parts were just off camera, but I'll watch it more closely next time I see it.

His spidey sense is going off. He cant dodge every attack you know. Fact, spidey's senses go off when ever there's immediate danger. Secondly, we dont know the full extent of the shot. He could have been doing other things, trying to avoid sandman's attacks and was just caught off guard. Remember, the ock fight on the train when ock blasts one of histentacles through the window, knocking spidey off the train and onto the ground?? Its a similar thing. So, in a nut shell, spidey's senses are definately tingling.

that scene is similar to this one in terms of not dodging the attack in time which I think is something that happens to spidey sometimes. he probably even doesn't move fast enough to get out of the way of the hammer from my point of you. he can't always dodge things you know.

thanks, not entirely impressed by it all....

most of the extra scenes actually look turd and they shouldn't show us big hits from fights...

meh, i guess they have enough possible fight scenes in the movie that they can afford to show us more clips from one...

the only problem is that it will end up being like x-men, the last stand where the scenes are all shown off completely before we actually get to the film and then people are dissapointed that they've already seen all the major aspects of the scene already.

They can show action but quick shots of it, so we're not fed everything before we see the entire movie itself. From the trailers we've seen so far and because its spider-man, filling the seats wont be a problem. Thats why I want little shown as possible because when people do go and see it, they'll be blown away faster than you can say, Katrina.
