I'm glad he's wearing the same outfit. Pointless faffing with costume designs in MCU movies kinda bugs me (although I guess they gotta sell those toys).

Really thats all the Iron Spider suit is... selling toys, he won't need an excuse to not ever use that suit again because it will probably be forgotten about after the next movie anyway.

Well Tony Stark is the tech guy, not Fury. Infact they already shown stark to have superior better tech then all of shield itself.

My guess will be the next suit is either upgraded by Stark as a present for Peter... or Ned hacks it and they make some customizable changes...

We've already had six films with the red-and-blue suit. Even if that's my preferred color scheme, I wouldn't mind seeing a red-and-black costume for a film or two.

I actually wouldn't mind this as well. And then, they can transition into him donning an all-black suit for the third film if they decide to do a symbiote story.

Good god I hate this alternate-suit crap.

Just make the Homecoming one more minimalist & classic, remove the black bands and maybe thicken the webbing slightly, bing-bang-boom. Either still with some version of Karen still in there or gradually weaning himself off the training-wheels help there from Stark.

We don't need to see friggin' Spider-Man of all people running around in an even-techier, grimdarkz-hardcore-stealth-ninja suit. Jesus.

The black suit reminded me of the suit Felicia makes for Peter in the latest videogame. It's not quite the black suit from the comics, but it being a gift from Black Cat mirrors the comics. Could it be a similar situation, but instead of Felicia it's the rumoured Jessica Drew who gifts this suit to Peter?

It does look a bit clunky. Definitely not Stark Tech. Looks more like a modern take on the Noir suit.

I did notice something odd though. On the chest piece, near the right shoulder there seems to be a circular logo. Could this be the logo of a reformed SHIELD?

It's not even this suit specifically that mega-blows, it's just that Spidey should always be the red-and-blue classic. The guy in anything else ain't Spidey to me, Iron Spider's bull**** too.

But I hope this suit is not seen for too much of the film and we get back to a more classic outfit.

They had Holland in a practical suit shooting Homecoming, too. They'll CG the **** out of this, guaranteed. Not that it matters either way, anything bar the "Spiderman suit" sucks for Spiderman by definition, so....

I don't know why this design team seems to be so averse to creating a uniform aesthetic.

I have always wanted to see a red and black costume. This looks pretty good. The white emblem on the back should be red of course though

My only complaints are the gloves and that the spider on the back isn’t the traditional fat spider we see on the homecoming suit

It's one of those deals where the suit is 90% perfect, but the 10% that isn't just completely kills it.

Make the spider emblem red and match the gloves with the boots and this is a slam-dunk suit. Very frustrating.
