While Teddy Hart had been very much more behaved than in previous years, this was just a case once again of Teddy being Teddy. While in developmental recently during the course of matches, Teddy would randomly springboard in off the ropes or do unexpected moonsaults, etc.. Basically going in to business for himself. He would be admonished, reprimanded, and told that he can not do that. Then at the next show he'd do it again. If WWE instructed everyone to dress business casual, Teddy would show up in his glittery pink outfits and so on and so forth.

The breaking point was when Teddy was admonished and told he needed to learn better ring psychology, and he gave what was described as "A Teddy Hart Answer". Vince McMahon was in one of his "on the warpath" moods on that day during talent evaluations, and it was decided that Teddy was not worth the trouble.

Following his release he's contracted TNA, to which Mike couldn't get any answers in regards to a possible deal there. He also contacted Ring of Honor several times, who immediately said they had no interest. He also contacted Jersey All Pro, and Mike expects to see him showing up there.

Sharmell and I have enjoyed the opportunity to put smiles on your faces night after night. We also want to thank everyone in the wrestling community for their support of our very own P.W.A. I want to address something that has been on my mind for quite some time now in regards to my recent suspension from WWE. I want to state for the record that I was not taking any illegal substance, or anything outside of my physician's care, and that the suspension was unwarranted. However, rather than fight the suspension or publicly voice my discontent, I used this recent hiatus to rest, work with the P.W.A., and reflect on the direction of my career as a professional wrestler. I also, for the record, have never at any time ordered anything from "Signature Pharmacy". This allegation is upsetting, and the careless and slanderous reporting of this matter is currently being addressed by my legal counsel.

I would like to also address any possible rumors or misinformation regarding our release from WWE. I had been unhappy for quite some time with the direction that the Company was going in. In fact, I asked for my release back in July for that very reason. However, after further contemplation, I decided to continue on with WWE because of my passion for this industry and my desire to entertain the fans. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that my unhappiness with my work environment was beginning to take a great toll on other aspects of my life. I knew that it was time to make some extremely tough decisions. Therefore, in the interest of my mental, physical, and spiritual well being, I along with my wife, asked for our release from World Wrestling Entertainment for the second time within months. We were graciously granted our release and we have since amicably parted ways. While the business relationship between ourselves and the WWE has ended, we will continue to be involved in Professional Wrestling. We hope that our loyal fans will follow us as we make this transition.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, and we will see you soon!

does he not consider weed a substance he shouldn't be taking? Unwarranted my arse, Vince Mcmahon may be a tyrant sometimes but as far as the wellness thing, I don't think if they were just suspending people at random, Booker would be in that group........there is something more here....

The end to Booker T’s souring relationship with World Wrestling Entertainment became official and public yesterday when the company announced that as of October 27th that he and his wife Sharmell had been released. The beginning of the end was when Booker found out that he was suspended for 60 days which made him irate. He was also said to be upset about certain changes in the WWE Wellness Policy and was thinking about not coming back after his suspension.

Booker had demanded that the company make changes to his contract such as allowing him to sit in on creative meetings leading up to his SummerSlam bout against Triple H to make sure that he was not buried. He wanted to wait and see how the SummerSlam match went before he re-signed with WWE, a move that he ended up never making.

With the statement that was released on WWE.com yesterday saying that the release would be effective “October 27th” it looks like WWE wanted to send a clear message that Booker had been suspended on August 27th and they were actually fired from the company rather than him walking out. For those that have asked, TNA is interested in bringing in Booker and he’ll be free next week, so the company would be able to utilize him for their pay-per-view if they can get a deal worked out.

Sad to see Booker go, not sure he was ever gonna get the HHH/HBK/Taker contract he wanted creatively.
