-- WWE was thinking about having Harry Smith debut at last night's SmackDown taping in England with a "fan out of the crowd" gimmick similar to Santino Marella earlier in the year. The idea was for him to be a fan in the crowd who accepts a SmackDown wrestler's open challenge and then beats him. The taping came and went, and Smith didn't appear on the show. He did a dark match prior to the Raw taping in England on Monday and was over huge once he got on the mike and told the fans that he was the son of "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith.

-- The 2007 WWE Diva Search Winner will be announced on the 10/29 Raw in Philadelphia instead of at Cyber Sunday the night before. The final three contestants, Brooke Gilbertsen, Eve Torres, and Lena Yada, will appear live next Monday on Raw to make final impressions for the fans.

-- TNA is currently in talks with former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette about joining the promotion. Arquette is suddenly interested in joining TNA. He called Jonny Fairplay, who has nothing to do with TNA these days, and asked him if Fairplay could be his manager. However, Fairplay isn't really interested in doing anything with pro wrestling these days because he has other things on the table.

-- Apparently, Karen Angle "made a spectacle of herself" at the party thrown by Spike TV in celebration of the first two hour Impact taping last month. Whatever she did at the party, it removed some of the internal luster over the Angle family among many people in TNA.

-- There was a sign outside the Gwinnett Arena, the site of the Bound for Glory pay-per-view that took place this past Sunday, that said "TNA Wraslin".

TNA WRESTLING VS. NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING INTERPROMOTIONAL WAR TO TAKE PLACE ON NOVEMBER 11 IN JAPAN

On Sunday, November 11, the superstars of Total Nonstop Action (TNA)Wrestling will travel to Japan’s Ryogoku Arena to compete in an “Interpromotional War” against New Japan Pro Wrestling.

“The War Machine” Rhino, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, Senshi and Ron “The Truth” Killings will represent TNA Wrestling that night in bouts against the stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling.


TNA Takes Over WWE PPV Dates

TNA Turning Point will be held on December 2nd & TNA Final Resolution will be held on January 6th.

WWE had those dates booked for December To Dismember & New Year's Revolution, but decided to discontinue those events.

A new HBK DVD ? They missed some good matches off

They did. I thought it was going to be a DVD with all of his best matches like Hulk Hogan's or the Undertaker's. Those two are true Anthologies with their best matches.

Booker was awesome. It's a huge loss for WWE, but if he was going to be buried I think he made the right choice. Maybe he'll join TNA.

I'm glad they didn't go "Marella" with Harry Smith. I think he deserves a better and hyped introduction to RAW. WWE missed a great chance by not introducing him on RAW since they were in England.

David Arquette headed to TNA. . . .The guy has no business in a wrestling show. PERIOD. Being called a "former WCW World Heavyweight Champion" makes me sick. I think him winning the WCW title was one if not the lowest point of pro wrestling (Vince winning the WWE Championship and the Royal Rumble being on a close second.)

Bobby Heenan recently underwent jaw surgery where surgeons would be replacing his jaw with bone removed from his hip. We wish "The Brain" a speedy recovery.

Tuesday night's edition of ECW on Sci Fi scored a 1.2 cable rating.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the Learning Channel has commissioned a show called "Roughhouse," which is a reality show about wrestlers being trained in the PCW promotion based in Arlington, TX. They are filming training sessions over the next several weeks.
