Why should they be pissed? Brock was more than likely a friend of theirs, and they were being supportive. I hate it when people (MMA fans in particular) treat professional wrestlers like muppets. Although the fact that the three WWE guys got big pops and Angle got superstar treatment is somewhat comforting.

The posters on Sherdog say that the WWE is fake and that everyone on the roster takes Steroids.

However, some are too stupid to realize that a bunch of MMA guys have flirted with Pro Wrestling at one time. Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Tito Ortiz, Kevin Randleman, Bob Sapp, Tank Abbott, Dan Puder, Mark Coleman, Cro Cop and Josh Barnett have all done the pro wrestling thing.

Heck, Bob Sapp was close to signing with the WWE for their upcoming Japan tour but backed out because of an upcoming MMA fight.

It's just another sporting event. Like athletes visit wrestling events, wrestlers do the same.

Some fans just have issues.

A surprising amount of Japanese wrestlers are also regular MMA fighters.

Puder is now working with ROH.

MMA fans do not have a lot of room to talk.....some tattooed, buzz-cutted third shift Target stock boy takes a couple classes and suddenly he's "training" to be an MMA fighter....

If you post there, you should tell them that.

Do they know that Lesnar was a pro wrestler?

As much as I disagree with your many assessments on things, this **** is spot on.

I guess MMA fans are getting precious despite the fact their sport started out in the US with a bunch of overweight bar brawlers punching each other in a cage....I believe it was Chuck Liddell that said his body couldn't stand up to the punishment toll of being a pro wrestler in y'know, the ol' fake fighting.

Yeah, that's dead on.

I was playing Raw vs. Smackdown 2008, and was creating a Big Show create a character and was screwing up his face, so I decided to google Big Show and look at his images. One of the pages took me to a wrestlings greatest losers page on 411mania I believe it was. It wasn't insulting any of the stars, the page was actually saluting them for taking one for the team. I was surprised when it said Big Show has lost every single WM he's been in.

It's funny, I've followed WWE since he switched from WCW, but I guess I never really thought about it. I've noticed he loses a lot more than he wins in the big matches, but never really thought about how the biggest and possibly strongest guy in WWE has yet to win even one match at WM. I've always liked Big Show, heck for awhile he was my favorite wrestler, it's a shame he's never had a good title run.

Also the site listed HBK (lost 8 mania's I believe), Bret, Jacques Rougeu (think that's spelled right), The Dudleyz, Goldust, Tito Santana, and JBL.

I used to, but after the repeated "one time only" DX reunions, dull character, etc., it's just not the same anymore. Could use another long break from him.

I hope Trips turns bad soon. Because that was when he was at his best and DX "one time only" for the 50 billionth time is annoying. They have to get by on comedy because they are no longer cool.

I dont mind it so much...and I happen to like comedy...I like to laugh....best part is when they hock their merch....comedy gold...just give me a dvd of all those and ill be good

When it comes to pure comedy, nothing beats Rock owning people on the mic in 1999 and 2000.

my sister bought me the RAW 3 disc set as a late christmas gift and its the greatest thing ever. :)

I love it two . alot of good stuff and some wasn't previously available.

I thought Brock looked pretty good in his match , he was dominating . I think all he needs is a little more experience in those type pf matches and he will become champion .
I was suprised to see taker and stone cold there ...that was cool .. i knew angle and sable would show , it was cool how the crowd kind of popped for them .

I really enjoyed Brock's fight, before he got taken down and submitted he really looked powerful and dominant, once he gets some experience in gaurding himself from those types of holds he should be even better. He really could be good.
I think both MMA and wrestling fans need to respect the difficulties of both sports. Athletes from both worlds have stated that they couldn't handle the abuse of the other or that they respect the dangers of the other. Wrestlers work much more often and probably suffer much more wear and tear on their bodies, but MMA fighters do basicly get the ***** beat out of them.

Yeah, what gets me is that a lot of prominent MMA guys are very respectful of pro wrestlers, but some of the MMA fans choose to ignore that. Hell, Tito Ortiz gets his whole act from Ric Flair. :o

Big Show recently paid a visit to WWE's developmental territory in Tampa, Florida Championship Wrestling.

Triple H is favoring a match between himself and John Cena at WrestleMania, instead of a match against Randy Orton. Michael Hayes is suggesting that they promote the match like boxing by calling it "HHH-Cena II". Also, Triple H wants to turn heel at some point in the near future.

Why hire bookers when they aren't actually booking.

I have irrefutable proof that Frank Mir CHEATED in that fight, and Lesnar had him beat:

Former WWE wrestler Nathan Jones is in talks with WWE officials about a possible return to the company, reports this weekend's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In 2003, WWE had some very big plans for Jones, but his initial push flopped and he was off television within three months. His wrestling skills were so bad that at the last minute, WWE pulled him from his scheduled tag match with Undertaker at WrestleMania XIX. The storyline excuse for this was that he was "injured." He was taken off television all together a few weeks later. Nathan was then sent to OVW to improve his wrestling skills. It was during this period that Jones appeared in a bit part for the movie Troy. Jones was brought back to the main roster in November 2003 for the Survivor Series. One month later during an international tour when they were in his native Australia, Jones quit the company. The rigor of the WWE lifestyle, compounded by dyslexia, became too much for Nathan, and he quit the company on December 6, 2003.

Since his departure from WWE in 2003, he's only worked a handful of wrestling matches, instead choosing to concentrate on his acting career. Jones came together with WWE once again in 2006, this time under the WWE Films banner, playing 'The Russian' in The Condemned, starring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

A lot of news on the departure of Bobby Lashley.

- As has been reported Bobby Lashley has asked for his release from WWE. The two sides are currently working on the terms of that release. Lashley has a long-term deal, and with him asking out of the deal, WWE is in a position of power in regards to negotiating a no-compete clause, which would cover MMA as well as wrestling, North American and International. Most feel that WWE wouldn't be able to enforce a no-compete longer than one year.

- Some of the reasons that Lashley is upset include him not being happy about his WrestleMania pay off, which was for $250,000. Some feel that the pay off was light, due to the fact that he was in the match the drew the most money on the show, while others feel that he should have been grateful for the payoff and spot he received at this time in his career. There also were issues with the behavior of Smackdown lead writer Michael Hayes and comments he made about Krystal Marshall. Lashley was also unhappy with the travel schedule and reportedly become hard to work with when he had to work with local promoters.

- WWE has sent him a release, but he isn't signing it on the terms WWE has outlined. WWE has been worried as of late with people leaving the company, and then proclaiming unhappiness with the job, schedule and even confirming steroid use. Most in the company feel he will return, because if he gets his release he will not be able to do anything due to the no-compete clause.

- Lashley was a pet project of Vince McMahon's, which is why he was chosen to work the WrestleMania angle. This was to give him the rub and position him as the #2 baby face in the company, behind Cena. McMahon went as far as to work the program after WrestleMania with Lashley, which was protested because some felt as if Lashley was being given too much, too soon and needed to spend time with an interview coach before they went full force with him.

- Lashley was recently cleared to return to action and had spoke with John Laurinatis to get things rolling. But in a follow up conversation Lashley stated that he would not be returning to the company. This has now put a lot of heat on Laurinatis, due to Lashley leaving and due to so many top talents opting out of the company. It is felt that the company has spent a lot of time, effort and money into cultivating these talents, and that they are losing a lot when they leave. With the exception of Steve Austin, there were never problems like this when Jim Ross was head of talent relations, but at this time Laurinatis' job is safe, due to there being no one ready to take the spot.
