I think Nathan Jones has done good work on screen . I don't think he belongs in wwe but I 'd rather see him than Kahli or snitsky.

I thought Lashley was doing a good job and seemed to be improving , its too bad . They should work something out .

Most in the company feel he will return, because if he gets his release he will not be able to do anything due to the no-compete clause.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :csad:

I don't remember HR being this hostile about Lashley when he was employed.

You clearly weren't reading hunters posts then. :o

And Hunter, you read my mind man. :csad:

Former WWE wrestler Nathan Jones is in talks with WWE officials about a possible return to the company, reports this weekend's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In 2003, WWE had some very big plans for Jones, but his initial push flopped and he was off television within three months. His wrestling skills were so bad that at the last minute, WWE pulled him from his scheduled tag match with Undertaker at WrestleMania XIX. The storyline excuse for this was that he was "injured." He was taken off television all together a few weeks later. Nathan was then sent to OVW to improve his wrestling skills. It was during this period that Jones appeared in a bit part for the movie Troy. Jones was brought back to the main roster in November 2003 for the Survivor Series. One month later during an international tour when they were in his native Australia, Jones quit the company. The rigor of the WWE lifestyle, compounded by dyslexia, became too much for Nathan, and he quit the company on December 6, 2003.

Since his departure from WWE in 2003, he's only worked a handful of wrestling matches, instead choosing to concentrate on his acting career. Jones came together with WWE once again in 2006, this time under the WWE Films banner, playing 'The Russian' in The Condemned, starring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

I'm all for this. I loved the Australian prisoner gimmick

I'm a little late, but on the topic of Cena and steroids. I believe he has juiced in the past and maybe currently. Seeing him in the gym, the numbers he's putting up, and his specific muscle definition is what leads me to believe that. I don't give a hoot though, he's strong and has a great physique. Sure, little kids look up to him and what not but I don't care about little kids; as I've made more than obvious in this thread.

I hope to be as big as some of the larger WWE guys one day, makin crazy progress too

then maybe you can join WWE and we can talk about you like we talk about the actual WWE wrestlers now. You don't talk like Lashley, do you, because I would love to be on here years to come and see people making fun of "Colothal Thpoons" like they do Lashley and his "bathturd" line.

These athletes are using steroids to enhance their performance , that's a good thing .

Seriously though everyone is on steroids , even rey mysterio and funaki .

- Some of the reasons that Lashley is upset include him not being happy about his WrestleMania pay off, which was for $250,000.

Wait....250k for WM alone? And he's complaining? It's like a rockstar having a horrible voice, being unable to sell cd's, and just being overall ****ty when it comes to performing live, but getting pushed cause he looks good. Then complaining about getting paid for a ****ty performance at the Superbowl. Lashley got pushed cause his body build, he had 0 personality, little in ring skill past the normal strong guy act, and little ability to sell his performance. He was lucky to have gotten the push he did, as someone without that build wouldn't have. If he thinks he can make more money elsewhere (possibly TNA as they love WWE rejects) then I think he's in for a surprise. IMO he should have been happy with that payoff, and been happy he was being given such a huge push early on, and taken time to improve to get further faster rather than ***** about it.

I don't necessarily agree with it, but I do understand why they do some ot if. I've smoked pot myself, but honestly I'm not addicted in the least, occasionally I might still with a friend, but it's a once a year thing at most, and haven't in over a year. So with that said, I don't think pot's the worst thing on Earth like some ppl push it to be. So in RVD's case, taking it to relieve pain instead of 5 different perscription pain killers or something, I can understand and sympathize with him on that. Wrestlers go thru a ton of pain most nights of the week, I mean I've had back pain before and it's a *****, the thought of having to go back out there every night with a bad back and do the thing that made it hurt, well I can understand the need for something to ease the pain. (to be continued :))

(typing on my PS3 so can only fit so much in chat at once, too lazy to walk over to my comp :) )

However some of the wrestlers take stuff that absolutely destroys your body. Vince should give them more time off to be able to atleast work out to keep the body he wants them to have, and at the very least to rest their bodies. However if you have to take steroids to keep in the shape to keep your job, I think somethings wrong. It's at that point in time you have to decide if it's worth destroying your insides and having your testicles shrivel to keep being in the spotlight. Of course to me it wouldn't be, but if all these wrestlers are taking it I'd think Vince needs to take a hard look at why they are. It's 100% the wrestlers choice, and if they screw up it's their fault, but on the other hand WWE creates a work environment with little to no time off to work out or heal up from injuries. I guess that's the price you pay knowingly going to work for the WWE, but I do feel for them.

Haha, I'd totally wrestle, but I wanna be mobile and healthy when I'm 50 so that's a no lol :(

Even CM Punk?

Not yet ;)

Taker's been in the game longer than HHH, any of you tired of him?

No, because the WWE have stopped doing all those "Taker dies, then comes back" angles....I'm lovin the taker of 07-08....while i dont mind the so called "Magic" elements, I'm glad they're not done as much and we have a more realistic version of the deadman gimmick...All he needs to do cut more promos with a mix of the "Biker" and "Deadman" styles

Skill wise, he's better this decade then he was last, which is why im glad he hasnt retired yet.

I was a fan of Biker Taker. Deadman is alright, but it's hard for me to like someone who supposedly lacks humanity and has gay superpowers. I read comics for that. :cmad:

I like both. I used to hate Biker Taker, but Biker Taker has had the better matches over all. Like peroxide Sting was way better than Crow Sting, even though Crow Sting was cooler looking. His current Deadman is the best of both worlds though.

- Don't believe the CM Punk doghouse rumors. The person that disliked Punk the most has recently been fired -- that person being writer Dave Lagana, who was responsible for Chavo Guerrero's push to the ECW title. Lagana was also the one person pushing for John Morrison to go over on Punk. Dusty Rhodes is a big fan of Punk and Michael Hayes has been trying toget him on Smackdown.

- Michael Hayes has taken on a lot more responsibility as of late andhas become one of the most powerful agents in the WWE. He can always befound at the local hotel's bar or at HQ. Hayes is now on-call 24/7 and has a lot of influence over plans & pushes. In addition, with Lagana out, Ed Koskey is doing the writing on the ECW side, with Rhodes continuing to offer ideas. However, with ECW and Smackdown working together, Hayes will be deciding the main direction of both shows.
