I want to see women actually wrestling, not just as eye candy....
Lance Storm vouched for Jillian's wrestling ability, saying she's one of the better women wrestlers WWE employs.

Lance Storm = The Truth!! I read his commentary on his website all the time.

Who would you least like to be stuck on an island with?

Hulk Hogan.

Really? So we’ll never see you and the Hulkster in the ring together?
Forget about it. I have a lot of respect for what the guy did in the ring. He was a huge part of wrestling history, but I don’t think it’d be a great match. You’d have this big build up and then it’d be a stinker of a match. I’m not going to deliver the fans a ****ty match just to put some money in my bank account.

LoL :D

Translation: "I would'nt want to have to carry his sorry ass the entire match..."

Good interview.

- What could become a major issue for WWE, sources say WWE and the USA Network haven't been on good terms as of late. Bonne Hammer of USA has been sending 10-20 creative suggestions to WWE on a regular basis. Sources say Vince McMahon gets the messages, reads them and then passes them on to Stephanie and then Brian Gewirtz goes over them during WWE creative meetings and basically puts them down infront of everyone. WWE hasn't considered a single angle USA has proposed, feeling insecure about someone else's ideas working better than their own. Also, they feel if they do start using other people's ideas, they will be pressured to use more and more.

WWE signed their deal with USA on April 4, 2005 which means their three-year deal would expire shortly after WrestleMania 24. Due to WWE's strong numbers, there's pretty much zero chance USA will cancel them but when Bonnie Hammer signed the deal in 2005, she was expecting and paying for ratings in the upper 4's and low 5's. WWE's best numbers as of late have been low 3's and this week they tanked with a 2.8. WWE has very little leverage for negotiations right now and they could end up re-signing a deal for a lot less than what they signed for three years ago. At a time when the company seems to depend on TV as a main revenue generator besides PPV, re-signing for less money could affect WWE overall.

People need to follow the gospel of Lance Storm more closely! Heathens! All of you! May you forever burn in hell in the Canadian Maple Leaf! :cmad:

Conflict backstage in TNA is said to have grown significantly between Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle over the past week. Both want to get into Dixie Carter’s ear to have a major impact on what goes on in the company. Jarrett’s allies, most notably B.G. James, are going around trying to convince other wrestlers in the company to take sides.

Jarrett has a few people who are loyal to him, like B.G. James, Jeremy Borash, Abyss, Dutch Mantel, and others, but most want to pick the side they think wins at the end. As far as both booking and long-term power, the situation is described as The Angle family and Vince Russo against Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel.

The end result of the situation is hard to predict. There is no way they will cut Kurt Angle or remove him from the top (which is generally what would happen in a situation like this). Jeff Jarrett on the other hand is a majority owner in the company and has steered the ship since day one.

If USA wants to send creative notes......WWE should send a note right back saying if you think you have better ideas you drag your office dwelling Starbucks drinking ass down here to the arena and pitch them your damn self, untill that happens....we wont tell you how to do your job, and you don't tell us how to do ours........

it would be cool to find out what the usa networks suggestions where.

as far as tna , i thin angle is obviously a bigger draw but jarret may be more reliable

-- The Major Brothers are getting horrible reviews from officials in OVW. Furthermore, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams and Robert Gibson, who work in trainer roles in OVW, recently offered them advice and the dynamic blonde duo responded like they had no idea who Williams & Gibson are. They also can't figure out why they should be listening to anything they say. Because of that, they have tons of heat obviously. Even though they've been on the main WWE roster since May, they still wrestle on the weekly OVW shows. The Major Brothers believe that they they shouldn't be there and that they are above being in developmental.

-- Though the person Kevin Thorn wrestled on last night's edition of ECW on Sci Fi appeared to be the typical nondescript, run-of-the-mill local wrestler WWE uses on TV when they need a jobber to put a star over, he is actually a former WWE star currently in developmental trying to get back on the main roster. The guy Thorn wrestled was K.C. James, who briefly had an unnoteworthy run on SmackDown last year when he was in a tag team with Idol Stevens with Michelle McCool as their manager. The team couldn't stay afloat after McCool was taken off the road because she got sick, and so they were sent back down to OVW. Anyway, James worked under the name James Curtis in the match with Thorn. James recently cut his hair, so that might explain as to why he didn't appear to be too familiar. He currently holds the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship with former TNA also-ran Cassidy O'Reilly.

-- Nick Dinsmore aka Eugene is returning to his roots. Dinsmore will help groom the stars of tomorrow as he was named the new head trainer of Ohio Valley Wrestling's intermediate class. He is replacing Joey Matthews aka Joey Mercury in the position.

-- Joel Simon quit the prestigous position of President of WWE Films on September 28th to be involved with some unspecified role involving indy flicks. Michael Lake was named the new President of WWE Films in his place. He is in charge of developing new films for DVD or the big screen as well as television products. Lake actually helped produce such films as Ocean's 11 and 12, all three Matrix films and Miss Congeniality. And now he can add President of WWE Films to his resume.

Here's some stuff I thought was worth posting.

- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Terry Taylor sent several unhappy TNA wrestlers letters informing them that they may leave the promotion if they wish.

Theres a story like this every week so I call bs on it and plus Shelley signed a contract extension so he isn't going any where.

I totally agree with you there. I really hate it when WWE has pushed women who haven't had in-ring ability. There are only about 1,000,000,000 other ways to see hot women without them taking up valuable time on a wrestling broadcast. I'd rather watch the likes of Bull Nakano and Aja Kong, not exactly beauties, over a couple of uncoordinated bikini models screwing up spots. Now, if they are talented and hot, then I have no problem with that either.:woot:

PS..Beth Phoenix = yum!
