The Avengers The Stan Lee Cameo Thread

Stan Lee was a general in WWII who had a son who grew up to look like Stan Lee. He lived in New Mexico for awhile. One day he drank a soda that was gamma radiated. He sued the company who made the soda, winning millions of dollars. From there, he became a mini-celebrity and bought his way into high profile events and married bimbo after bimbo.

Here's the real explanation...

The Skrulls have been infiltrating human civilization for almost a century, planning their invasion. Unfortunately, their technology only allows them to disguise themselves as STAN LEE!

Not really a cameo idea, but I would love to see Stan presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award, by all the actors who played Marvel characters he created. IN COSTUME!

reminds me of a joke they once did in that "superhero squid" show, where Stan does the voice for the Mayor...

something like that would be great... have him be a witness to the Hulk, and trying to tell someone what he saw, and them replying like that

How about:

The Avengers beat whatever threat they're up against and now the whole world loves them. They get invited to the Oval Office where the president want to shake their hands personally. They get there and the prez is in his swivel chair with it's back to the Avengers lined up in front of his desk as he looks out the window. Then the prez turns to face them and..dun, dun, dun!!!!.......it's Stan Lee. All the Avengers have sort of a befuddled look on their faces since this isn't who they were expecting. Stan cries out "Excelsior!!" with his arms raised(Nixon-like) and then cut to black and roll credits.

It's the scene that begins with Thuderbolt Ross sitting behind his desk and a soldier comes in and says they discovered an old man had drank from a bottle which Banner accidently cut his hand near.


That's what tipped Thunderbolt Ross off to the fact that Banner was in Argentina

Stan's cameo in the Incredible Hulk is my favorite too. Its sahort and sweet and to the point. Its unexpected and fun.

[BLACKOUT]Ross is hearing about a Banner siting, his blood was found in a bottled drink by an old man. (something said like that). We see the fridge open and its Stan. He grabs the drink, drinks, and says one word, "Wow!" Before passing out.[/BLACKOUT]
Short simple and part of the story, he isn't wedged in there.

I Love this idea.

They can show this scene of hoards of Skrulls running into battle against the Avengers. They can show maybe 5 of the Skrulls look like Stan Lee, and that could be his cameo. Just that small scene of 5 hims running into battle with other Skrulls (who look like Skrulls and others mimicking stuff too.)
