What is exactly the problem with that scenes? just curious....
.
Playing Leap frog and flying Logan at the end.
So it's a suspension of disbelief thing...
Not really a problem with how the whole sequence was choreographed/directed.
I agree. It is one of the best fight scenes ever. Spider-Man and Wolverine should not fight in the same style set pieces though.I remember people having the same reaction with the Spidey vs Dock Ock train fight scene when it was shown in the trailer...that it looks fake, to CGI etc etc, and that scene ended up as hands down one of the best fight scenes in CBM.Period.
You make it seem like they gave him flying powersPlaying Leap frog and flying Logan at the end.

What keeps me relatively worry free (?), at this point, is Mangold's seeming confidence in the film. He appears to genuinely be proud of it, so I'm not terribly up in arms about an edited for internet, out of context clip. Fingers crossed.

Precisely, and I'm one of the few who kinda likes the bullet-train-scene, here...![]()
Me and danoyse are on Team-Bullet Train as well!![]()
Personally I dug the clip.
t:I said the same thing about MoS but then watched all of them lolWe're having shirts made.
I actually don't want to see too many clips before I see the movie, so I was fine with getting a bullet-train clip. The movie looks like it's going to be fun.t:
You're in an online forum about superhero films. Think about it. =)I don't see why some are complaning. It's nowhere near the misses of Origins.
I am looking forward to being excited finally for a film this summer.
Well, I don't think physics are exactly playing a legit role in the scene haha. He is pretty much flying through the air in that last shot. I think you all know what part I'm talking about when I said that.
Not having powers shouldn't really effect his technique. Maybe it is all the film and combat sports I watch, but he just never quite looks right.
Err, no. To anyone who thinks he's flying think about it for a second. He's using his strength to vault forward, the wind is blowing him forward(no sillier than the end of x1 in the SoL) and the train is moving so fast beneath him it LOOKS like he's flying, when really he's only vaulting a few feet, using the momentum to propel him forward into the guys chest.
They set the physics up the whole damn time, people flying around and having to hold on for their lives. Wolverine works With it and uses it to his advantage to probably kill the guy. This works perfectly fine. The physics may not be 100% right, but it's 100% believable. It works great, and looks a lot better in context than in the trailers.
I know what they are going for. I never said he had flying powers, you took both my comments way too literal for some reason. And no, I don't think it looks believable or realistic. Like MagnarTheGreat said it looks like an excuse for things to fly at you in 3D. It looks incredibly fake and staged to me, which is why I don't like it.
