Not keen on the Jean Grey poster. It looks nice, but her having one makes me wonder if she has a larger part than I expected. I hope not to be honest (I don't wanna get into my views on the Wolverine/Jean thing). If she doesn't then it seems a bit weird and could give some people false hope for her character.

Me too...I am disappointed that she has one considering she ain't gonna be in the movie that much anyway...and...Im...disappointed too that the movie will have no tie in whatsoever to DOFP.

What about the rumoured post-credits scene? I mean I can understand the body of the film not having ties to DoFP, we sort of knew that anyway since they had said all along it's a standalone film. It's not going to have any great references to any other x-film (well other than Jean Grey, I suppose, but you get the idea).

Yeah....I...Just yeah...well. I don't care anymore. I'll see the movie regardless...but my hopes have died for this one. As for DOFP, thats a different story.

But he said he's been talking to Bryan Singer about keeping them flowing together. I think he only means that it's just going to feel like a completed film. Post credits scene would be just fine If however it contradicts DOFP then I'd be real upset

Well I'm not bothered about that. It seemed pretty clear from the start that it wouldn't be referencing other films much.

In EW article he basiclly admits It.

We know reshots was done In Montreal while DOFP Is In production and a source had
said Patrick Stewart was there to help setup DOFP.

So Inless the report of reshot was actully something bryan Singer was shooting for DOFP yeah there will a post credit scene for the wolverine.

What? This movie was being filmed before DOFP was even an idea, it has nothing to do with it.

Same here. I love Jean as a character, but I don't know how involved she needs to be. It does look like more than a glorified cameo, though.

How? The only footage we see from her is in Wolverine's nightmare. She gets a poster because people are familiar with the character.

I think its a good marketing strategy to give Jean Grey a character poster. Some people might want to watch the movie if they see that poster in the mall.

Though I wish her pose was a little different, I felt like they just used one of her pictures from X3.

He didn't get a character poster, the only character that got a poster for himself was Wolverine.

But like Kayla's sister, Cyclops was included in some of the posters.

I'm not sure it's a great marketing strategy. If it's giving the wrong impression about her role then there could be somewhat of a backlash with people being disappointed.

I also thought it looked like they had just drawn X3's Phoenix for the poster. Not a good call back imo.

I agree. Granted, I don't know the extent of Jean Grey's role in the film, but I think it may be an unnecessary bit of advertising.

It helps people place this movie after X3. You'd be surprise (or not) that I still see people even on the Facebook movie page and twitter extremely confused as to when this movie takes place in the timeline. Also it's been said that Jean "pops up" in the movie "to mock, comfort and advise Logan" like "Number 6 in Battlestar Galactica" (Entertainment Weekly, May 31 issue). It implies some recurring screen presence.

Well i like Yukio, but the background should be other, like a traditional japan, like the first hugh pic! Dont like Viper also, she shoud be wearing the green sleeveless costume and not that coat... and that hair...lol
