I'm curious why the ID of the Silver Samurai is such a big secret? I don't mind it...I think it's kinda nice. But I'm pretty sure the SS is NOT Harada. I'm betting it's Old Man Yashida.

Could be, since Harada has been portrayed as a ninja with a bow and arrow thus far. I wonder if he will even be a mutant. We will see though. There might or might not be a twist to the Silver Samurai mech suit. Also old man yashida does not really have a character poster or does he?

This grabbed my attention the most!

The featurette was nice! And isn't it nice to see Lauren Shuler Donner again with these featurettes! The woman has been around with these X-Men movies since the beginning!

There are some hints that he is the Silver Samurai and hints that he isn't the silver samurai.


Hints that he isn't.

1)We don't see him charge his arrows with his mutant ability, or anything like that in the trailers or at least it's not hinted that he is a mutant. So at this point we don't know if he is a mutant or not.

2)He looks to fight Wolverine perhaps mid-movie? The scene where all the ninjas attack Wolverine. I am not sure if he gets killed in that scene or if he flees, but it seems he fights Wolverine before Wolverine fights the big mechanical Samurai. Assuming the giant mech suit is the final villain.

3) The Silver Samurai mech suit has not been tied to a specific character yet.


Hints that he is Silver Samurai

1) His character has been a mystery thus far even in interviews.

2) The mech silver samurais katana charges up with something which resembles the energy from Haradas mutation in the comics.

I also love the line "What kind of a monster are you?" "The Wolverine". So badass.

Those new pics are nice too, I love the one of Mariko and the one of Yukio with the blade above her head (you can tell she's a model).

Agreed, Im not a fan of movies changing characters so much, I don't really know why they do it, yeah I understand you cant do a cut and paste from comic books for various reasons, but complete opposites of personality are just dumbfounding and only seek to pee fans off.

But yeah Harada looks like a cool character in his own right at least, wether he turns out to be SS or not, as long as what they come up with something that works for the story/is cool/makes sense then I can accept it. If the alternative is just stupid (ala Deadpool laser beam eyes and blades in his arms, CANT EVEN TALK!!) then I shall vent!!
