These clips (the bullet train action scene and the funeral scene) are TOO damn short and its not making me excited about the film. If I remembered correctly, the clips for First Class were 2 minutes and longer. Right now, I just want to see the movie. I know these scenes are going to be longer in the theater.

Nope. XMFC clips were around the same length, there were just alot of them released.

sorry to be a buzzkill but I really did not like that funeral clip.
I don't know if it is because the video was edited, but I have a bad feeling about this.
again with Wolverine just wailing around his claws and briskly touching his claws against the goons' weapons. Is his claws even touching the enemies? I am praying that they edited a good chunk of the fight because what I am seeing reminds me a lot of origins.
also Yukio seems be awesome and laying some smackdown of her own

In that funeral fight clip, when the character with the bo staff clogs the trigger, it's cut kind of funny. She's in the middle of a crowd, and the next shot we see of her, she's got the bo at the trigger. Just weird cutting.

Yes it's been cut to bits. Viper's attack is edited out for example. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this and say it's going to be much better in the film.

the funeral scene looked cool, but it seemed way too edited

hopefully that's not the final version we see in theaters

Both action sequences are clearly cut to shreds. No doubt they will be different in the final edit.

Agreed. Around about this time nearer a film's release is where I generally consider not visiting the forum so as not to be spoiled. I also don't pay attention to tv spots and such nearer the release.

just look at it as a trailer for one action sequence

from what I can see already, it definitely looks like the choreography took a huge step up from origins

Sad to be a killjoy but there is a major continuity error in the clip. Yashida takes just a step away from the bunker when he's looking at the bomb but when Logan stops his hand, he's 30 feet away. This means the clip is edited.

Also too much to say perhaps about a superhero film, but its too much to think that Yashida survived. Logan should have closed the lead door above as well as covered Yashida with the lead covering for Yashida to survive. Even still, Yashida would have suffered atleast 4th degree burns.

I'm not worried about continuity errors in a dumb downed, highly edited clip.
