Yea that's where Origins truly screwed up. Not dead pool, or bad cgi, or cheap looking gravity defying cartwheel-in mid air-floating-gambit'. it didn't capture Logan the way he was meant to be in that weapon x storyline. It put such a damper on who this character is and how he acts in x1 and x2. In x1 and 2 it makes perfect sense, he's finding himself and he's now in a school filled with kids etc, but he still unleashes the fury and goes off to do his own thing in those films, even though he is an x-man. But that's where x3 and origins missed the mark with Logan big time. Instead of fleshing out his character they leave it in the hands of this movie to do so pretty much.
I think this movie will deal with him being a warrior, and killer, or address what he has done. maybe provide flashbacks or something quick to fill in some gaps of origins. i doubt it but i feel we will learn about that side of him way more than what origins accomplished. It's a real shame, because if origins was what it was suppose to be, then really, nobody would have these doubts. Origins would have been the story to have the most violence and rage out of them all, thus setting the standard he was trying to live with the rest of his life through x1-3.
Ohh well.
