The Stevie Wonder Appreciation Thread

Yep Mr. Wonder is the man...next to Mavrin Gaye and MJ:yay:

Marvin's a good second to Stevie. Then would come Barry White for me.

Oh yea Barry White is good love making music.

Want a girl to get naked quick put on Barry:heart:

Yep. Stevie's a legend and rightfully so. It's really amazing how well he can play several instruments while being blind. And then there's his voice. Fantastic.

I'd add James Brown to that list.

Oh, yeah, James is great. And Otis. I'd throw in Sam Cooke as well. But still, Stevie is tops for me. He is one of the men who got me into music (along with Sintra, Elton John and The Beatles).

I'm a fan of Stevie Wonder and he has some really good stuff, but I don't think that anyone's made a more socially relevant R&B album than Gaye's 'What's Goin On'.

That's probably the best R&B album ever made because it was the first to cover so many topics.

Back on topic, 'Talking Book' is one of my fav albums. 'Ribbon in the Sky' is a well developed ballad imo as well. . . one of my fav R&B songs actually.

Muddy Waters > all of these artists.:o
