Hello All!

I survived the big day. Got married on, friday at 4:30 by a judge. It was supposed to happen at 5 pm but there was some scheduling error on thier end. They had it set for this upcoming friday somehow. But they were able to squeeze us in, even though we had to rush there at the last minute, everything went off smoothly. Afterwards, we had dinner with my family, then headed home and talked to Tinas family in Croatia who were already drunk at a wedding reception party in our honor. Afterwards we went out with a bunch of our friends to a bar were we proceeded to get hammered. It was alot of fun. Anyhow, here is a picture of the happy newlyweds.

Dead Man Walking!

just kidding ;) Congrats to you both! Do you have engagment rings then already or whats the story? Are you waiting to save up for a nice ring? Tina and I just used some ****ty rings for now, we are going to get better ones later. Government is raping us with fees to make her a us citizen.
Is it going to be a big wedding, small or what?

LOL Thanx!

Well, I'm saving a bit more to give her a good engagement ring. I think St. Valentine's day is the perfect day for the engagement dinner with both families. Our wedding will have 145 guests for now. We're trying not to go over 150. My mother is nervous and happy. It's her first experience as the mother of the groom. Today my fiancee has called me a few times saying: "At this hour I would be doing this and that" and I tell her: Well, I would be doing this and later on I would be playing videogames (probably Fight Night 2005 or the next installment of Smackdown VS. RAW) with my PS2 to relax myself a bit. I'm gonna be nervous.

Well, I was fine until two hours before the wedding, then I freaked out. I got all worried. But I went through with it anyway and it was all fine. We had the luxury of doing it in front of only my parents and a judge though. You'll be up on stage, sweating through your tux in front of an audience. lol
Ok, It wont be bad, as long as you love the girl, there should be no worries. Just don't get married outside, my cousin did on the hottest day of the year and they were all decked out in fancy suits and dresses. I thought I was going to die of heat stroke sitting in a chair in partial shade. After, they had to stay outside and get photos taken. Their suits where wet. it was nasty.

The ceremony will be on an air conditioned Church. . . Still when I get really nervous I sweat like a fountain LOL. I've always tried to avoid talking to large crowds, it feels weird when so many people are looking at you. But I know I will pull it off specially at the reception where I will recite a poem to my girl with William's Superman's love theme (instrumental piano version) in the background. I think that being with my family members I won't be too nervous.

I tell you, I never thought I would be so involved in the whole process, specially on the little details. I want this moment to be memorable for the rest of our lives.

What a wonderful way to personalize the event. Best of luck to both of you.. I hope you post a wedding pic for us to see afterwards.

Coolest Christmas gift received:

Firefly DVD set.

What a shame.. Really great show, cancelled before it's time.

This is too funny...and disturbingly accurate. ;)

My triplet sister (the one that looks like me and we chatted about in several PM's), aka Spike, asked for that DVD boxed set too... She's a big Josh Whedan fan too.

I did the same thing that I did when I first bought the SV season 1 DVD set.. I watched them all over a few days time. With Firefly it's a little harder though.. knowing that there aren't any more being made, although, there is a movie coming out in Sept.

Funny how Spike and I seem to have similar tastes in TV shows. ;)
If you get a chance, borrow her set and watch a few eps. It's really a wonderful show. Great dialogue and interesting, unpredictable characters. If it were still on, it would definitely rival (and maybe surpass) SV as my favorite show.

Really? She said that there's talk it might be spun off in some fashion... A movie or something...

I'll have to ask her when I see her tomorrow.

It's getting late and I've got some driving to do bright in the am... CYA!

That chart is funny what is a furrier?

"Furries"
Too weird to even explain.. basically it's a subculture of people who are into...uh.. dressing up like furry animals and doing weird things. A quick google search brought this up which probably offers a better explanation than I can. http://tftb.com/furries.htm

Wow thanks that is really odd. It almost seems it could be dangerous people using behaving like animals to de humanize themselves. Ah well the power of the internet.

well guys, I haven't posted much lately (not that I'm that prolific a poster to begin with, but...meh )...
Just don't feel that into cheese and ice-cream analogies because my little dog got killed last week...sigh. I'm just a wreck. He was a big part of my regular routine. I loved the lil' guy.
Where is Superman when you really need him???? He would have stopped that mean old car, when I couldn't....sigh....argh.

Aww, Ardy.. I'm so very sorry. :( :( :(
I've had my own experience with a dog getting killed by a car. It's not only sad, it's traumatizing.

I had noticed you not being around.. your posts are always so welcome. Come back when you want.. door's always open. ::hugs::
