If Yukio was to appear in Wolverine 2, what are the chances of Gambit appearing as well?

Thanks bunches! It makes me a little sad though, I've gotten no word at all about when this thing is to be released to DVD or theater. I'm getting a bit afraid I will never see it.

I am hopeful Gambit will have a cameo in Wolverine 2, he and Yukio do know each other after all and Taylor already said he would do it in a flash.

Finally we got to see something from the Bang Bang Club. Well, hopefully it will be released at some point. Looks good to me.

Gambit didn't appear in the first Wolverien mini which this film is likely based on, no. He hadn't even been created yet as far as I know. But they've already taken quite a bit of creative license as it is with the movies, who's to say they couldn't just give us a taste?

But Gambit wasnt even THAT important in Wolverine... I think more people remember the Blob or Will.I.Am than remember him. Deadpool spin off makes sense because its a different type of superhero movie. Black comedy and the whole junk. Gambit I just dont see happening.

Don't worry, it was a comment with wink.

I know that he's not that important, but the fact he appeared in Wolverine Origins does show that he's important enough to get him into the movies. If he really wasn't an asset to the story they would've left him out. Maybe it also has to do with the fans screaming for him to appear, but that would've been very cruel. His role in Wolverine Origins wasn't that important to the story, but why add a character when they don't intend to continue with the character, especially a character like Gambit, who you clearly would not expect to be there?

Okay, maybe I'm talking contradictions, but still, I don't see the point in not continuing to use a character (unless he's killed off like Will.i.am's character, whatever his character's name is), and just use him as an introduction, which had the Gambit fans squealing (including me, hehe)?

Oh well, whatever the reasons, I do hope we get to see Gambit again, played by Taylor Kitsch of course, because he did a great job. There is space for improvement, but for the screentime he had he did good. I've said it many times before, but I really think Gambit is an interesting enough character to have his own movie. I do think the chances are slim, but until they're saying it's not going to happen any time soon I'll keep some small hopes.

Like everyone else on this thread, of course I hope to see Taylor Kitsch come back as Gambit in any form. I just highly doubt it.

They introduced him in Wolverine 1 because fans wanted to see a live action Gambit so it was for box office reasons. In Wolverine 2, they could go one more round with all these ridiculous cameos (Will I Am character and whatnot) which then Gambit will be a part of.

In the end, it's whether they want to or not, not whether it makes sense. Because seriously, cyclops and gambit's screentime in Wolverine doesnt make sense
