I saw the pilot at Comic-Con and yup:

Panthro appears in the pilot but it is a fake-out by the Lizards, Grune, and Mumm-ra. Mumm-ra disguises himself as Panthro to trick the Thundercats. So we know the real Panthro is alive and out in the wilderness somewhere.

So freaking fantastic. The animation is outstanding and the writing is top notch. The show is like a more mature version of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Just to ask, how's Snarf portrayed in this. I had heard that he was going to be portrayed as basically a Pikachu rip-off, which sounded REALLY scary for someone like me who ****ING HATES Pokemon. Is that really what he's like? Because I don't wanna sit through this damn show with him saying his f-ing name over and over and NOTHING ELSE!
