I'm loving the twins, Snarf, and Mumm-Ra being a badass.
That's like the third Mobey Dick homage I've seen this week.![]()
It was referencing Wrath of Khan, not Moby Dick . . . bleh.
Yeah the twins are so slick. Every scene with them is gold.
Also liked Lion-O getting caught up in the Captains obsessive ways until he comes to his senses.
BTW was that golden stuff the ship was floating on water or sand? lol!
Yeah that's what I thought but the golden stuff had waves and people would swim in it. Strange. It was sand since that monster sucked up all the water from a certain region.
i was thinking the same thing, just saw the futurama one thursday, what was the other one you were referring to?
No one is talking about literal reincarnation, though![]()
To suggest a link to the old show implies reincarnation since the characters are basically the same. In other words, the original show featured Lion-O, Cheetara, etc., and the new one features those characters as well. If you link the shows, how would you explain that other than assuming the characters from the original were somehow reborn or reincarnated? That's why I don't like the idea of linking the new series with the one one. Now, if we were seeing completely different characters in the new show, I'd be perfectly fine with the notion of them being descended from the original Thundercats -- since they aren't carbon copies. That's not the case though.
Sorry if that's a bit confusing.![]()
ah, i saw that movie a while back age of the dragons it's called. i think they still could have done the boat stuff on water and just went after a sea serpent instead. the land boat was strange. There was this movie that came on SyFy starring Danny Glover in the Ahab role. Only instead of a whale, it was a Dragon. Not bad.
