Curious as to how he got his nunchucks though
I assume that he either had a pair, so he would still have one. Or, he went to their kingdom finding it destroyed, and in turn, finding his nunchucks.

I would've guessed the sabretoothed traitor was. Mumm-Ra totally doesn't work out, you know. :oldrazz:

I suspect he had 2 pairs. He used to have 2 in the original cartoon, didn't he?

I like that the score pays homage to the classic theme, but I really just want the full theme or an opening with the new revamped theme. Hopefully as the series goes along we will get a nice sequence that has the new full theme in it.

I really loved this episode. It was really touching when it needed to be and humorous as well. My kids and I couldn't stop laughing when Emeric was talking to Lion-O and was like "You never stopped looking for me, after all this time". Bwahahahaha.

Panthro's intro was awesome.

Now the question is where did Panthro get his current chuks because Grune brought them back in the premiere?

A bit of a mystery.

Anyone know why none of the Thundercats have the Thundercat insignia/symbol on any of the clothes they wear? They each have the red circle... Just not the black cat inside of it.

Minute detail I guess they just haven't adapted it to their uniforms yet. The toys do have them though.

I'm sure there's a Chinatown on 3rd Earth where Panthro could pick up a pair, plus a "katana" with cheap gold paint on the hilt.

When the Petalars were singing it reminded me of the Whos in Whovillie from How the Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

That last episode was strange. The whole time I kept wondering where exactly this episode was heading. Glad to see Panthro finally show up. Now, if we can just get some Mum-ra action, the show will pick up.

I'm guessing they're gonna add them to those red circles as a symbol of unity or a beacon to other cats they meet along the way that Thundera will rise again or something. Revamps always seem to like attaching meaning to all kinds of random stuff from their source material.

Wow...I am loving this series!! It's equal to Avatar as far as i'm concerned.

Anyone know when the figures are supposed to hit stores? All I can find is "August/Fall 2011." I would've figured that they'd be released in unison with the premiere of the show, but I guess not.

You can find them at Walmart now, I should know, I've bought almost all of them lol!!!:D:up: I bought all of the 4" cats including Mumm-Ra, the Thunder Tank which comes with Snarf, Thunder Racers, and all of the other 4" 6" and 8" classic figures, and the 14" Lion-O, yeah, I'm crazy!!!:oldrazz::D When I said the Cats were still my favorites, I wasn't kidding lol!!!:o:D:awesome::up:

Interesting. I did a search on Wal-Mart and they said they weren't in stock. Oh well, I guess I'll have to take a trip and find out for myself. Not sure that I'll get every single one, but I think I'll at least get Lion-O.

Just for fun, Kevin Conroy should be the voice of Snowman or somebody like that.

Loved the last episode, it actually got me pretty teary eyed. And of course the end was badass :word:

just watched the first four episodes,

i love the extended universe of different animals and plantlife, i wonder why they are still segregated. They still have yet to manage an multicultural animal based establishment in fiction.

bucky o hare was the closest on a space ship but no mixed species settlements as yet.

o and the thundercat makes the tumbler look like a toy, that thing is badass.

jaga's set of folk are rock hard.

let's hope these filler episodes start picking up

and can't wait to see this series' depiction of the trials of lion-o, the best thundercats episodes EVER!!!!

Went to 2 different Wal-Marts, neither of them had anything. Guess I'll have to check back next week.
