Part 3 - The Spectacular Spider-Man

I was kinda disappointed when they decided to go with "Spider-Man 2" over "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Amazing and Spectacular always get suggested first (makes sense, I guess, since they are/were the longest-running titles), but Web makes a great title. The only reason not to use Web in the short term is to save it for a later attempt to do the black costume properly.

Hey guys, Sony wants to reboot this franchise along the lines of Nolan's TDK, so calling it Amazing Spider-Man or Spectacular Spider-Man doesn't fit the bill. Ya know what I'm sayin'? Let's call it: The Spider-Man Chronicles Part I: The Beginning. This has a Nolanesque vibe to it.

Ahh thanks I wanted to know because everyone's saying that the first movie should use amazing and then spectacular -- but they use peter parker for the 3rd. sensational doesn't sound that great but they could use it..

Well, there's Tangled Web too, but I figure Web of Spider-Man would take 'precedent' if it came down to it. If I see Peter Parker: Spider-Man on a theater marquee, I may throw my shoe at it.

Personally, I'm anxiously awaiting Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, for the inevitable film where they get married, and Amazing Fantasy, when Spidey goes all Captain Universe.

Spider-Man: A New Spin, We definitely don't need another one simply titled "Spider-Man" or that would just confuse the non-diehard fans who had no idea of a reboot. I definitely want the movie to live up to the name that it is given.
