The TMNT Movie Trailer Threads Merged

Does someone have a downloadable version of the trailer?? I can't view Quicktime here at work. :(

Well, to be truthful, I did have my doubts as to whether or not the animators would make it look too "cartoony" with animation, in homage to the 80's - 90's series which everybody knows Ninja Turtles from, where as I was used to seeing turtles as actors with prosthetics and make up in an amazing first film.

But this trailer has squashed any doubts I may have had in the past. The animators look like they know what they're doing. These turtles look as if they've stepped out of the comic book.

But is this sequel to TMNT movies ('90s)?

Writer-director Kevin Munroe was present and revealed five minutes of footage from the anticipated film, which is set after the second live action movie.

So it is sequel of TMNT2: The Secret of the Ooze, right?

I saw it and it was pretty good. I love the animation, the only thing i don't love that much is the face, it's alright but I want them to look more handsome(LOL if that's the word I should use) looks kinda ugly IMO.

Hey anyone know will they make a Video Game based off this movie?

They're turtles. How can they be handsome?

I would expect camp from a turtles film.

I hope there will not be much camp in this movie.

It's supposed to be more violent, gritty, and darker like it is in the comics and the current animated series.

I can't even describe how giddy I am right now. That was ****ing badass. If you don't agree, you are wrong.

When watching the trailer...at first I thought the CGI turtles should look better. I was also thinking about the first two movies. Why not another live-action movie? Will all three live action movies be released in special edition dvd's? (This new CGI turtles movie is from WB and NL who made the first three is WB's little brother studio. I smell re-releases of the three live action films!:)) By the end of the trailer, I was sold on this movie.

This movie is looking good. I don't really like the CGI turtles, though.

tidbits from comic con.

With the teaser trailer now online, Superhero Hype! has a few more bits learned about TMNT--the first all CG animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie--at Comic-Con in San Diego. We've also posted four new character posters that were on display, which you can find here!

- Writer-director Kevin Munroe was present and revealed five minutes of footage from the anticipated film, which is set after the second live action movie.

- He said that the film will feature hidden jokes from the comics and animated series.

- Splinter will be voiced by Japanese actor Mako. The other voices will be announced in a month, but they are not well-known celebrities.

- Shredder is not the villain in the story, though he does make an appearance, which might set up the conflict for the sequel.

- Expect Casey Jones and April to develop a relationship.

- Marco Beltrami is doing the score, and they are looking to create a theme for the "Turtles" CG movies, something memorable like the "Batman" theme.

- One of the scenes shown features a turtle dressed up for a kids party, and the kids beat him up, with one of the little girls kicking him in the balls. A lot of action scenes were also shown, like the turtles on skateboards, hang gliders, etc.

- The movie features a bat character and female ninja characters.

- There is a human villain, who may or may not be named Winter.

wow... i take back what i said about not liking the way the turtle's look... that trailer was effing sweet-ass!

i'm so there.

Too bad. I can't view the clip. I really hate Quicktime. Can anyone upload on Youtube? Thanks!

I knew Michelangelo was gonna screw something up after the other three did their little ninja poses with that long pause. :D

It looks fantastic, clearly somewhat more serious in tone than Turtles II and III (although the comics were sometimes extremely silly) but still obviously a family movie with Michaelangelo as the comic relief.

And there wasn't even any fighting in the trailer-!
