If you have seen the trailer, it's a good thing. Looking at it as a screen shot does not capture its greatness!!

It looks really good when in-motion.

You know what stinks to high heaven? The fact that this apparently follows on the abomination that was TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze. That's what it says on the SHH news post about the movie. It follows the freaking Vanilla Ice film where the turtles never used their weapons or any actual martial arts abilities, were dumb as dirt, and got easily pummelled as soon as the Foot realized they could attack with more than one guy at a time.

Yeah. I wish this were a totally fresh start rather than a supposed sequel but as long as it's got a good story and not nearly as corny as the second, I think I'll be happy. Hopefully it won't try to make any meaningful continuity with the second and just work as a stand-alone.

This is the most amazing movie to come out in 07 or at least I hope it is. Both turtles movies totaly rock, even though II was a little wierd and the weaker of the two. However even if it does follow II it will be freaking awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!

they already announced awhile back that this movie will take place after TMNT 1, and to some extent, only certain parts, TMNT: Secret of the Ooze. So the VIce part will, more than likely, be thrown out lol...hopefully. aswell as the super shredder part. The main part i expect to be still intact is them finding out about TCRI(TGRI in movie) and meeting with the professor.

Bat character... Wingnut and Screwloose maybe?

EDIT: 80's cartoon or not... he's the only bat character from the comics (he was in the archie comics). Which would be closer? Creating an all new character... or using one from a different brand of comics?

Either way, I'd have rather seen Mondo Gecko or Jagwar way before W&S.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks this looks terrible!

Come on, that's some real amateurish CG right there. Something out of a PSX game intro movie. The models are ******ed---whats with their big heads and skinny legs? They look like little kid versions of themselves.

And the animation had some decent poses, but came off rather stiff to me. It looks a bit *too* CGish, and doesn't even come close to even the quality of something like Shrek! The colors look a little washed out as well.

And mother of God, do we really need another one of these films? There have been 3 already, and ya know what---the first one is FINE. I think it worked for what it was, and it was very entertaining. It ain't every day you get an actor on the level of Elias Koteas playing friggin' Casey Jones!

Anyway, I ain't holding my breath for this one.
