It's interesting because Tobey does seem to have a temper he has to continualy keep in check. They really could have pushed his dark side in the film a lot further, oh well, perhaps it was a bit truer to the Peter Parker character.

I've seen it many times, When Nerdy guys go to a party and they have too much alchool to drink , They turn into Drunken Idoits and their nerdy side is amplified (They dance like fools) - Thinking their cool, (They try to Hook up with Chicks) - Thinking they finally gained some confindence in themselves , not realizing their making Jackass of themselves .
