Yeah, I sense that is a problem as well. Or at least what I'm worried about. The past two movies have been completely building up to this. It's going to be hard to come up with a movie as exciting as the past two, and more specifically this third movie. I mean, they no longer have villains that are capable of carrying a movie by themselves. They'll be digging into the B - level villains from here on out. I don't get why they can't just make a great trilogy, and leave it at that. Keep it fresh, and don't O.D. on it and kill the franchise. Kind of like what happened to Batman and Superman for awhile. Keep it quality, as opposed to quantity. I mean, I really don't want another great set of movie's image and mystique tarnished by a bad movie or two. It has killed alot of the great concepts and movies.
I dont think "OD'ing" had anything to do with the demise of the supes and bats franchise. What killed them was the blatant stupidity of the films themselves. Prior to BB all batman movies sucked aprt from the 2 keaton movies as for supes, 3, 4 and SR sucked harder than a lung wound. SR goes to show that Od'ing has nothing to do with it because supes had been out of action for 19 years, came back and still sucked.
Its all about the quality of the films, if its good, keep pimpin'.
