The Trump Thread!!!

You know how the old saying goes: When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And when Donald Trump gives out your cell phone number, you make a YouTube video destroying your cell phone.

That’s just what South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham did after the real estate mogul and fellow Republican presidential candidate broadcasted his private phone number during a rally in Graham’s home state on Tuesday.

The video, created by the Independent Journal Review, opens with Graham on his famous flip phone, looking exasperated. The senator then explores a variety of disposal methods — from blenders to baseball bats — backed by a dramatic classical music soundtrack.

After Trump’s stunt, the proudly tech-averse Graham, who in the past has claimed he’s never sent an email, tweeted he would be abandoning his dated cell phone after the so-called doxxing fiasco, asking his followers, “iPhone or Android?”

The video appears to be at least somewhat inspired by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a fellow 2016 hopeful who released a video showing him “killing” the tax code to promote his plan for a 14.5 percent flat tax.

If chopping your phone with a meat cleaver and dropping it off the top of a building doesn’t work, Graham has one more suggestion.

“If all else fails, you can always give your number to The Donald,” he says before hurling his phone out of frame. “This is for all the veterans.”

Rubio: Obama has no class

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) accused President Obama of having “no class” during an interview Wednesday morning on Fox News, citing a selfie-stick video and interviews with YouTube stars.

When asked if Donald Trump is conducting himself beneath the office of the presidency, the Florida presidential hopeful said that the presidency has to be conducted in a “dignified way, with a level of class.”

After Rubio panned Trump for behavior that isn't “dignified or worthy of the office he seeks,” he pivoted to Obama.

“We already have a president now that has no class,” Rubio said.

“We have a president now that does selfie-stick videos, that invites YouTube stars there, people that eat cereal out of a bathtub.”
Wow how classy there making that comment Rubio, sort of funny he goes on telling us about Trump lacking class and he shows it himself.

Its actually $113 billion.

We will never entirely secure the border. We are sharing a border with a country that is failing and being overrun by drug lords and other criminals. The people of Mexico are desperate and the people of central america in general are desparate. And the criminals, coyotes, and smugglers have been getting people across the border for so long that it is an art form. So we can put up a ridiculous great wall and they will still find a way in. Personally Id rather we just not waste money on doing something rhat wont solve the problem.

Id rather we cancel the pointless wasteful $1 trillion F-35 program.

Mexico has ZERO business being in the condition that it currently is in! They have serious resources, innovative people and a hardworking work force. The problem is the government is really corrupt and their solution for their problems is just funnel people up North so that those people can send money.

We need a strict but fair system. Adopt a lot of Mexico laws while allowing guest workers a easy way to come in. Give those people first dibs to stay.

Also all you lefty people need to stop letting yourselfs get so rilled up by Trump.

Donald Trump is a joke and has always been a joke. He won't make it past the first debates.

How many times do we have to point out that the GOP is as frustrated with Trump as the left before you finally understand that this isn't a left vs. right thing?

Who on the left is getting riled up? Most Democrats love Trump because he makes the GOP look like one huge Clown Show. If we could create a Republican candidate to make the Republicans look bad I think Trump is pretty close to what we would create

Sadly for you, but good for me, Donald Trump will make it past the debates. In fact, he will dominate the debates. In fact, Trump will start to win primaries. The reason is that he is just echoing what the Republicans have been saying for the last 20 years! He isn't saying anything new. The problem is that unlike the other candidates, he is telling what he really feels. He isn't using the codewords that the other GOP candidates use. He isn't a politician. When he says he wants to build a wall across Mexico, or bomb the oil fields of Iran, he actually means it. He's a joke only to rational people, not the Republican primary voters.

"My fellow Republicans, beware of false prophets. Do not let itching ears be tickled by messengers who appeal to anger, division and resentment." ~Rick Perry

I'd say Liberals in the media are certainly riled up, especially CNN, but the Democrats love Trump, so they aren't complaining. If anything, Hilary is trying to say Trump is the mainstream of Republican thought and not a fluke.

I agree that Trump isnt a fluke. He is the inevitable outcome of what the GOP and RNC have been doing since 2001. The are reeping what they sowed.

CNN produces artificial coverage of things. They actively get Republican and Democrats to pretend to be upset over whatever and argue with each other for the sake of arguing. MSNBC is the home of actual Liberal pundits and they are treating Trump like a gift from heaven meant to drive minorities in to their arms. They actually want Trump to do more.

I'm referring to the actual CNN liberal news anchors who get riled up as opposed to party hacks from the Republican and Democratic side. On MSNBC , i'd say most of them are enjoying the Trump candidacy . So I agree, Democrats want Trump.

So apparently Trump is not happy with the RNC trying to tone him down and is threatening a 3rd party run. That would be so glorious and ensure a GOP defeat. Please let this happen

Unless the Republicans kiss Donald Trump's a**, he will run as an independent. Thank you Trump! :sly:

Trump is on his way to my border town where he will try to have a meet&greet at the airport before he goes straight to the border and river to see where he would put up giant fences or walls. He will likely be met with many protesters..But meh I doubt he or the border patrol(who invited him)will care.

Doesn't bother me since I don't give a damn about politics, Although he does seem like a racist ass and so I like him less for that but he can say whatever he wants about Mexicans because I know he's very wrong and he can put up whatever he wants because there will always be ways for immigrants to cross over from different countries.

Oh they might if it turns violent. Now that I think about it, I wonder if Trump has ever been out of large cities.

Accurate.

He came through Gary, Indiana, my hometown like a decade ago when they were planning on building his casino which is still here. He claims he had to get used to the smell of the steel plants. :o

I saw that. Christmas in July!:awesome:

I would say that it's more than just that. If anything, what you say is actually a very minor aspect of Trump's rise. Trump's rise is actually very similar to Sanders's IMO. It's people feeling frustrated and alienated with the establishment and being intrigued by candidates who say what they actually mean.

Bernie Sanders is just taping into the Ralph Nader vote that has always existed but never given voice from with in the Democratic party.

I think as the Republican party continues to become increasingly radical it only makes sense for there to be a liberal reaction. I don't know if will actually amount to anything in the end. But it may move someone like Clinton a bit more to the left.

Very true, but look at the alternative to Sanders. Clinton is the epitome of the establishment Democrat. Americans, both Republican and Democrat, are getting fed up with the establishment.

It's not a progressive reaction. The Democratic Party has been lurching more to the left ever since the Republican Party has been lurching more to the right. And it is amounting to something. The Democratic Party of today is almost nothing like the New Democratic coalition that Bill Clinton created in the 1990's. That era died with the rise of Barack Obama.

Basically if you can appeal to that middle America guy that's real military based, against immigrants, and all that there, you have a shot. I suspect he doesn't even believe a lot of the stuff he says but he knows that a lot do.
Isn't this the same base that made American Sniper the number one movie of 2014?

How come the United States never tried to make Mexico into a US territory, kind of like they do with Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands?
