The Twitter Thread

"warrenellis Goodnight, Twitter. Anyone who tries to wake me before 1pm better have a good reason, or they're getting shanked right in the geesh." I can say that on the Hype, right?

It's worth it just to read the weird tweets of my favorite writers and comedians.

I keep the celebs to a minimum, but there are some who will engage with other posters (like Seth Rogen and Jon Favreau).
Faizon Love is pretty cool, too. He added me after I talked with him a bit.

i twitter now, but i dont say much

Somebody told me Seth Rogen has an account, so I went on just to see what he was doing, and apparently last week he and Jonah Hill were having a little flame war. He wrote that Jonah looks like Mimi from Drew Carey and then five minutes later writes that he looks like Jason Giambi's ******ed brother. Haha.

First Myspace, then Facebook, now Twitter, God shoot me now.

I gots one

So far, I've swore a lot and talked about invisible zombies and poop.

Dew, no you did'ent.

I basically just wanna know what I can do there that I can't already do on Facebook.

I started one this morning, and got really bored.

Exactly. Is society really this dumbed-down that this is what everybody is doing on the internet these days?

I don't see the point of twitter either. it's for twits.

Fox News has been promoting the hell out of it. Is it owned by them?

I think this is only good, if your in the entertainment business, to keep people up to date on the process of films and such.

Other then that, do you really need to know what your friend is doing?

Thats what Myspace and Facebook is for. Or just even call them up.

If you don't have a job, this doesn't really apply to you. If you're in a line of work where you got clients or higher ups that Twitter, it would behoove you to sign up for that ****.

I'm so sick & tired of hearing of this damn Twitter thing and hearing seemingly every news or entertainment show urging their viewers to send them a "tweet." No. I will not tweet you, and for the rest of those people out there, I don't care what you're doing at the moment. I don't care if you're ironing a shirt or eating pancakes. I don't care if you're stuck in traffic. I don't care what you thought about the latest episode of House. If you want to sign up for one of these social networking sites, GREAT - there's plenty you can accomplish on MySpace or Facebook, but if you're going to sign up for a site where all you can do is update people on what you're doing or feeling in 100-something characters or less, well, there's a better outlet for that: texting.

The dumb thing is a lot of celebrities have ghost twitters, which makes the thing totally pointless.
