After I made sure the guy from the building got to the hospital, I reved up my bike again, and raced back to the streets. Plenty on my mind, especially with what had happend. I need to find out who's keeping an eye on me. Cause if there's one thing I'm known for, it's that Roy Harper
never lets anyone get away with out a good fight. I was literally itching to find out what I was in for, as I grasped onto the bikes handle bar, and took a mean turn.
The cities lights were still shining. Traffic was crazy. I had to get back to my apartment, patch up a few things first. I continued along with street, then took a right into a huge alley way. I turn off my bike, then hide it a little near a dumpster. No one is stealin' this baby. I jump up to a small ladder, which led to a back door, and started to climb.
Once at the door, I took out the key, and went inside. The lights automatically turning on as I walked in. But something just...didn't feel right. I felt a breeze coming down on me, and looked up to the window leading up to the roof open. Someone had been here while I was away.
"What in the hel--"
My focus is cut off, when I take a step and accidently crushed a paper underneath my boot. I set down my bow, and took off my hood as I picked it up. I tried to uncrumble it. It was a...note? Which read:
Downtown - One hour.
Now I felt like I was in a damn maze. Who the hell could've broken and entered? Even disable the security systems? Maybe it was the same person who knew I'd show up tonight. Like that meta mentioned. Yeah. It could probably make sense. That meta could be a goon of his. Like some kind of distraction. I wasn't going to waste anymore time finding out, when I immediately headed for downtown.
