I wouldn't mind a Batgirl before a Robin... it was a plan we had actually wanted, for this season, but it fell through when SF stopped posting.

A white girl with a black father? That sounds like a sitcom idea! Damn the lazy ass striking writers, I can write this ****!

Truthfully, I'd rather have Batgirl. Or Jason Todd, under the Red Hood mantle as violent Gotham vigilante, since I never intended for him to be Robin. (I have a different second Robin in mind, whenever Dick becomes Nightwing.)

I really don't know when I'll have it up, to be honest. I've lost my initial interest in the character, and it's more of a matter of me regaining that than it is of me just not posting.

I have half of it (the half we talked about) written, so if I don't get something up by Friday, I'll just post that, even though it's short.

Character You Would Like To Play: James William "Jim" Gordon

Basic History Of The Character: Born and rasied on Chicago's tough southside, Jim and his newlywed wife, Sarah, left Chicago and joined the Gotham PD. One night, on patrol. He heard gunshots and came across a mugger, two dead bodies, and a gun leveled at another victim. Jim did what any cop would do. He drew his weapon and killed the mugger. Soon after, it was revealed who the two victims were. Thomas and Martha Wayne, two of Gotham's richest and most prominent citizens. The mugger's third intended targert was the Wayne's eight-year old son, Bruce. Fast forward years later. Jim is now a detective in the Gotham PD with the rank of captain. Despite the corruptness of Commissioner Loeb and the police department, Jim has a few close allies he has deemed "Untouchable" among them are: Jason Bard, Harvey Bullock, Rene Montoya, Maggie Sawyer and Clancy O'Hara. Jim has an adopted teenage daughter, Barbra, and a son. James Gordon Jr.

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. Jim has been one character I've always been interested in. I've loved the way he portrayed in Year One as well as Batman Begins.

2. There's alot of chances to tell a variety of diffrent stories with Jim.

3. One positive is I get to interact with MB's Batman as well as the many diffrent Bat-Rogues.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you 'utlimizing' him or her?): Honestly, I really don't plan on changing Jim's character too much. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Although I did alter his origin a bit to fit MB's past work and my ideas.

Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): I can bring an experienced RPer with a love of Batman and his supporting cast. Also, I can bring some good stories.

I lean against a brick wall, a cigarette clamped in my hands. Sarah says I should cut down since we got the baby. But, if I smoke outside. I doubt it'll affect Barbara.

BLAM!

I almost choke on the smoke as I drop the cigarette and run towards the noise.

"Dispatch, this is Gordon, shots fired on the corner of Finger and Wolfe, requesting back up."

I unloosen my holster and pull the gun out, it's a last measure, but it's sometimes a nessecary one in my line of work.

BLAM!

I turn the corner, my gun pulled and pointing into the darkness. Two bodies lay on the ground, the perp has his gun pointed at a third.

The time it would take me to warn him, he'll pull the trigger. I don't give him time.

BLAM!

It takes him a second to fall, the shock from the bullet passing through his chest. He finally drops to his knees and sprawls to the ground, his gun lying next to him.

I finally see his target, it's a kid. The other two corpses had to be his parents. They're all nicely dressed, which means they had money from the looks of it.

"Mom?...Dad?"

The little boy looks down at his dead parents, I walk towards him.

"It's okay....it's okay."

I pat his shoulder, his crying is making a lump form in my throat. God forbid something like this should happen to Sarah or Barbra.

I feel the tears start to sting my eyes and the police sirens ring through the air as I swallow the lump and pat the boy on the shoulder one more time.

"You're gonna be....okay."

Poor kid. Even though he's not dead, something like this screws you up for the rest of your life...........
