In every episode of USM there is something that makes me laugh out loud. Am I fan of this show? No. But as I said I keep coming back for more because without fail there is at least ONE SCENE that has me cracking up laughing and this week it was the 'what answer should spidey give' wheel of fortune. Very funny.

* The truth but with attitude

Pete - 'I know, but I'm not telling'

Even thinking about that scene is making me smile :woot:

You thought that was funny?

Lol, well I am not judging, if you're amused your amused.. but really, The parts that are 'supposed to be funny'..they just aren't, to me.

The Wolverine/Spidey shenanigans were truly humorous though, I'll give them that.

And my god...Could they have cut-away any more than they did this last episode? Holy Spider-webs batman...Maybe they should have an episode dedicated solely to Spider-Man talking to the audience with a gray background..then we'll REALLY feel a part of the show...................

honest to god, MK, THIS is really my reaction whenever I watch this show... :whatever:... I really DO roll my eyes... at this show AND at myself for getting sucked in thinking this mess is SOMEHOW going to get better... EVEN when I KNOW deep down that it just NEVER will...

what can I say?...

The point of that picture was...

Same pose

Also, the new movie takes more cues from Ultimate comics than this show does

Clearly we are just a pair of suckers.. lol.

It's unfortunate that the animation is deadly for this crap of an episode. You know if they remove the 4th wall completely, show stuff in his head way less and let him narrate what he is thinking, then the episode would have being deadly cause the story was very good.

He was acting very responsible for his friend, trying to help him and if they continue with that, then they can give a 3rd season. Kids are not stupid, they can follow the story without interruption. We don't really need story plots, Batman Animated series proved that.

One part of this episode that actually made me a little mad was when Spidey is mixing up the anti-venom and then turns to the audience and pretty much says,

"Hey kids. The makers think you all have ADD so here are some clips from previous episodes so you won't have to watch anything that might take a couple brain cells to follow."

^This is why I hate this show. So far they haven't revealed the title of the next episodes and when they will be released. I will continue to hold out the unrealistic hope that it will die.

I'll second that. Is it really necessary to start every episode with "I'm Spider-man and...." or is there a need to reintroduce us to every character in every third episode?

Maybe I'm the only one here, but I'm getting kinda tired of the whole Shield attachment and Spidey's "partners" are getting on my nerves too. I just wish he would split from them and Shield and just go his own way.

Lol, this has been one of the biggest criticisms of this show since it started. You're not alone.

I dislike the fact that Spiderman as a team leader would lie and keep secrets from his team for personal reasons. I know Harry is his friend but his team mates are too and at that point Harry could kill them and innocent people too. Spidey was humbled when his team would go the extra mile for him but he was not willing to trust them though. So much for the responsibility them right? I guess all of this stuff is just too heavy for the writing team.

Despite not loving the show I would be telling a shame faced lie if it didn't make me laugh every episode. I guess I have a juvinile sense of humour.
I hate this show for getting SSM cancelled but despite that USM makes me chuckle every episode even if it's just once.

I like watching each episode the first time, but second view always feels like a chore
Avengers episodes on the other hand, I can watch one of those three time in a row and still fond of what I see

Okay, I didn't see the show, but I'm deadly curious...

So what secret did he keep? Did he not tell the others that it was Harry in the suit?

He would not tell his team and Fury took him off of the case. For a while he tried to hamper his team's efforts in stopping Venom. I suppose he wanted to deal with Venom on his own.

Agreed.

Huh. That's weird. I've watched the clip where the guys are trying to subdue Venom (maybe overly aggressive, but they're doing their jobs), and Spidey's getting in their way, and I felt like Spidey was the one in the wrong. I suppose you could argue it's consistent with how he tends to do things in the comics, wanting to take responsibility for everything himself, but I can't really side with him. All of his teammates know Spidey's identity anyway, so what's the real downside to letting them know that it's Harry in the suit? They all know Harry too. Is the viewer supposed to think Spidey made the right call? If Spidey's really so bad at trusting and working with his teammates, then he shouldn't be on a team at all.

Sorry, is the new spiderman movie based on Ulimates or 616?

Neither. Or both. Or it's yet another interpretation of the character that doesn't fit neatly into some predetermined mold. Or neither.
