uh yea....Im a fan of keeping the red and black color scheme....even Arkham Asylum had a decent version....in this game she just looks like shes wearing a tank top and some pants....barely any makeup....

on Catwoman....this is my favorite variation of the costume with the goggles and they kept Selina a short haired brunette which im cool with....she was blonde in B:TAS....she's a cat burglar...form follows function IMO....it looks like something a "cat burglar" would wear....

random thoughts on Arkham City so far

- its awesome

- best Catwoman costume

- worst Harley Quinn costume....she basically looks like white trash with some face powder

- do the AR training to get the grapple boost

- one of the best openings to a game

The opening was wicked, I am so happy I never got spoiled on either the opening or the totally unexpected twist of the ending.

I still can't believe we got to play as [blackout]Bruce Wayne in the opening[/blackout]

:woot:

Oh I need this game right now.

DC need to make it happen

Awwww I dug her costume ;_;

Agree about her make up though and the lack of her mask dissapointed me too.

Catwoman was indeed amazing in this game and I loved her design and her character

Have you played as her yet Black'OLantern

just two parts, the prologue to the game start and going to see Poison Ivy....(another character design I am not a fan of) much prefer her classic look

What section of London is like in Harry Brown? because I want to avoid that s***. :o
I have not seen Harry Brown but I know it was filmed in Elephant And Castle (an area of South London).

That area is going through huge billion dollar regeneration at the moment and the old apartment blocks in those movies have actually been demolished.

London has 33 boroughs compared to say new Yorks 5 boroughs so its super diverse.

Your safe in atleast the vast majority of the boroughs.

According to BleedingCool, DC is going forward with a Watchmen prequel miniseries.

Please excuse me as I proceed to punch the internet out of rage.

I just got back from the theater and saw The Thing prequel (which was meh) and Paranormal Activity 3 which was f***** amazing. It's better than the last one by a mile and better than the first one by just a hair.

I am oddly curious.....especially as to Night Owl....these would be things that took place before the Keene Act and they were all forced into retirement??

I'd prefer it to take place between the Keene Act and the Comedian's death. That way we get to see everyone's mundane lives before they don their costumes again.

"No no, the Malibu Ozy is supposed to come with a RED CONVERTIBLE!!"

on Arkham City
-Loved Harley at first
-Then I saw Catwoman
-And then...Talia, Dat ass :hrt:

that is all.

i'm trying to envision a situatioon in which i care less about the watchmen prequel book, but i just can't do it. i hope it's a good read for those who do give a **** though

The female characters in this game make me a very happy fangirl :hrt:

Especially Catwoman and Harley

I like Ivy's comic book costume better too

But I still enjoy the way she's portrayed in the games even though I'm not wild about the design

How about all of it. Hop around a bit.

I'd like to see more of the original superheroes who started it all like the original Nite Owl and such

How i felt about Arkham City's opening, it just hits you in the face with such great action, nicely done since the 1st game takes a more silent, anticipating start. I also love how many villains/characters you see from mere side-missions.

Just wait for the ending.

Its a bit of a Grand Guignol to be honest.

Oh....and wait for the ending credits. Something spooky awaits.

I'd like to see how Rorshach and Nite Owl eventually became a team and beat the villains only mentioned in the original series like "the Underboss" and Big Figure.

A Comedian prequel about him in the Pacific in WW2 would have been pretty interesting too.

I liked the ending for the most part but (ending spoilers, don't read unless you've finished):
Batman carrying the Joker instead of searching for Talia and the whole "oh i have to carry Joker so melodramaticly" was just too stupid, thats not my Batman at all, i did like the dialogue exchange between Joker and Batman, it was very spot on. Still yeah Harley Quinn is pregnant and mad, oh boy!

It was fitting. Let's face it,[BLACKOUT] Joker was WAY more important to the story than Talia ever was. Plus she was an Al Ghul and made the mistake of thinking she could fool the Joker.[/BLACKOUT]

Think of everything Strange says. No doubt it resonated through Batman's core.

Speaking of which, I haven't checked but [BLACKOUT]is Ra's body still there[/BLACKOUT]?

Also, if you're feeling dramatic, after all the **** is said and done, go pay your respects at Crime Alley. Man, does that feel dramatic.

No way! [BLACKOUT]Batman would never ever care more about some damn lunatic than the woman he loves, this is the woman Batman was almost willing to ignore the people of Gotham for, for crying out loud! She could be in parts due to the explosions, but nope nope, Batman apparently gives a darn more about his arch nemesis than the woman he loved and was worried about.

Also i'm wondering, how will Batman get the cure now? Thru his own blood? Or is did Batman truly fail at the end with saving Gotham?[/BLACKOUT]

?

[BLACKOUT]He drank half the cure before having that debate with the Joker about whether he should let him have it. Not sure it works but I think just half of the stuff was enough to cure Batman, remember Bats had taken something else to slow the effects of the illness in Wonder City. But Joker's miscalculation (by stabbing Batman in the arm) cost him the rest of it. [/BLACKOUT]

Oh you meant for the rest of Gotham?

Heh. Well played Joker. Well played.

No, No, i mean:
How will Bruce get more of the cure? The cure had enough left for Joker + more to manufacture for the people of Gotham, but the cure is never touched upon so now i'm wondering are the people of Gotham going to die or did Rocksteady just forget lol
