I'm having a similar argument in the Indy V thread. I'm for finally getting a new Indy in there. A "Roger Moore" for the franchise, if you will and I'm surprised at the level of selfish attachment people have to certain personalities.

Wing Commander wasn't all that bad.....oh yea it kinda was but the action scenes were pretty good
Well, he's just a brain tickler. He's the sort of actor that's already in our minds that would take Indy to his next logical step.
Any other actors fit that formula?

That! Everything you just said. You go through the game fighting tooth and nail as Batman and his allies, and then, like six months or so after that, Rocksteady's like, "You know there were times when you wished you could just bulldoze everything. Well, we're proud to introduce the Superman DLC, which allows you to do just that!"What would be so cool about having Superman fly around a city, invunerable to about 90% of the **** Arkham can throw at him? Maybe the only one thing that poses a challenge to him is Riddler's puzzles but he'd probably just bulldoze his way to get to every trophy.
I totally understand why some fans can't envision anyone else in the role.
A asshat friend of mine once joked that he envisioned a Star Wars prequel centered around Han Solo, which seemed like an awesome idea up until he mentioned casting Freddie Prinze Jr. as a young Han Solo. I almost went Jihad on his ass.
I wish Luke and Leia weren't fat ****s and maybe we could have a New Jedi Order trilogy![]()
I'd settle for a Starkiller anime style movie though
