They missed an opportunity for comedy gold by not making a Thor quip when they recruited Storm.

Anyway, the teams' power levels are pretty okay now. They used to have a problem with that back when Bendis had literally just Cap, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and whatever other random heroes he felt like throwing in there. But now they've got the Thing, Red Hulk, War Machine, Captain Britain (pretty soon), the original Vision, and some others. Thor too, up until Fear Itself. That's a pretty powerful bunch of characters dispersed throughout the various Avengers teams. Ironically, Avengers Academy, which features the closest tone to the classic Avengers stuff, now has the weakest roster.

That's more the reason I'm upset. Stop putting characters that shouldn't be Avengers on the team Bendis. Storm's an X-Man. Wolverine's an X-Man. Spider-Man's a loner. NONE OF THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE AVENGERS.

Spider-Man I can dig, although I've been enjoying him more with the Future Foundation, where his long-neglected science aptitude can be nurtured under Reed f***ing Richards' wing.

The rest, though, yeah. Rulk I'm kind of on the fence about, given Parker's excellent repurposing of him from a Loeb s***stain into a genuinely interesting character.

I've always felt that more X-Men should branch out and be on other teams. Cordoning them off into their own little section of the MU isn't helping anybody. Though I woulda used Iceman instead of Storm.

If memory serves, they just doubled the number of black women who served on the Avengers.

He's still male and a cracker... I have a character named Arctic-Wind from CoH and Champions Online who has blue Skin and a white Mowhawk and ice powers.... would she work?

Being an X-Man isn't a prison sentence lol. I think more mutants should mingle with other superhero teams. For a group of people fighting for equality, they sure love to seclude themselves.

Wolverine and the X Men is surprisingly good Hush. Its a really fun book so far with a neat cast of characters.

You would definitely like Wolverine and the X Men 'Nubs. Iceman is being crazy in that book

I'd agree if not for how awesome the setup Jason Aaron gave Iceman in Wolverine and the X-Men #2 was.

If you wanna say Storm can't be in the Avengers because she sucks or you should use Thor instead, fine. Don't say she can't be an Avenger because she's an X-man, because Beast is a classic Avengers character.

I think Storm could be pretty amazing on the Avengers. I'd bevpretty interested to see how she gets along with characters like Cap and how she fits in on the team

Dude, we b***hed for three pages and there's a whole thread in community b***hin' about it. (Apparently, a lot of people get infractions because some body else got an infraction so they tell on other people cuz if they're going down, so is everybody else.)
