We had to get a bigger venue, due to the fact that it really is everyone on earth who has a problem with him and that he doesn't really have persecution issues at all.

eh, those guys were posting about me in the negative a couple of days ago in here as well, and I ignored it, but then i thought, well, what the hell, they are probably bored and want a dialogue with me, since there is no other convo on the go right now, so here it is.

and on bl, this is my final word, yes, i am glad he is gone, but I would not have called him out if I had thought it would have led to him being banned. Is this because i am scared of other posters reactions? no, not at all, hence why i am not afraid to express my pleasure at his banning, which i am glad of because it makes the place a little more pleasant for some people.
but, no matter how much I clashed with someone, no matter how much they disliked me and tried to cause me trouble, I would not have the heart to get them banned from a site that brings pleasure into their life, I wouldn't want to take that away from them.
that's what makes me different from my enemies, and makes me better than them.
now, i guess that is also very annoying to you all. Because it's true.

so how does banning or infractions work around here? I read some of the FAQ but it's better to just talk to posters who deal with the rules

It usually depends on the mod on how strict the warnings, infractions, and bannings are.

Such as, one mod may infract for an inappropriate video and another may only warn in the same board.

If you get a maximum of ten infractions, you are banned, i would look up the rules in order to get the full lowdown on what can get you an infraction.
but, the mods can also just ban you outright if they feel it is warranted.
and if your rule breaking was pretty minimal, you will usually get a warning before you get your first infraction.

The Tech & Support forum has a thread about them.

Also go to the celebrity forum and read the picture posting rules there. Since, apparently they count across all the boards.

And the Funny picture thread in community has some more rules too.

Not that you'd know, since, the Admins can't be bothered to condense the rules in the FAQ. Where logical people, such as yourself go first to look.

thank you for the information, Ive been on other boards and the rules tend to be the same if not some variations but I'll look in those places

Alright, my last word on the matter:

People probably post negatively about you, in your specific case, because you're an ass.
they are probably bored and want a dialogue with me, since there is no other convo on the go right now, so here it is.
There's no other convo because you had one of the people who spurs on conversation evicted... because you're an ass.
because it makes the place a little more pleasant for some people.
And more unpleasant for other people because it's gone a long way to killing conversation. Largely because you're an ass.
but, no matter how much I clashed with someone, no matter how much they disliked me and tried to cause me trouble, I would not have the heart to get them banned from a site that brings pleasure into their life, I wouldn't want to take that away from them.

What makes things annoying is the manner in which you post. Because you're an ass.

"Enemies"?

On the Hype?

News to me. I've made friends here, but if I don't like you from your posts, you can be damned sure that the goddamn SuperFerret isn't losing sleep over you.

God I wish I bothered to learn how to post moving images like that.

You know, I put thebumwhowalks on my ignore list for a reason, and seeing all of his posts quoted in this thread is rendering my effort moot.

thebumwhowalks is awesome and all you mofos is just jealous of his awesomenessness.

Could be worse......I could like, not have internet access. :o

As I said earlier in the thread, there is a pattern on this forum...
lots of people go out of their way to attack and antagonise me...
...then when I go on the defensive and fight back...
...they turn round and act like 'oh, look, he just argues with people all the time, we/they were right to attack him in the first place...'

When people don't attack me, all I do on the boards is get into geeky discussions about the movies and have my say in some of the debates, making the odd gag here and there, as normal people do.
This is self evident on the rare occasions when the attacks stop.
It's kind of useless to point this out in my defence, when I am pointing it out to the very people who attack me in the first place. They just deny it and continue the attacks.
But, I guess there must be some decent souls on here who have some integrity, and might recognise that this pattern is pretty evident on the forum.

I seem to recall you once telling me that I had to change my life drastically and then went on claiming that I was part of a group of people determined to get you banned...it was very odd.

Umm... mood here is tense.

Anyway, a friend of mine passed me his hard disk full of fan subbed anime and I was instantly hooked by the Gundam 00 series which has a pretty interesting premise.

It feels like the anime/big robot version of The Authority with a little Alan Moore crazy thrown into it for good mix. The story revolves around a future where use of Fossil fuels is a thing of the past and Solar power is the main source of energy in the world. The Earth is split between the Union (I'm guessing America), the AEU (Europe) and the Human Reform League (China/Korea/Russia/India) who pioneer Orbital Elevators that are a source of their power. However, this change in the main source of energy left oil/fossil fuel dependent nations with a product without value and because Solar Technology became the new oil, it was controlled by the three main factions leaving developing countries to struggle for themselves or become client states to the main players. The Middle East, due to the drastic change in the political/economical climate is once again redrawn along new lines, leading to war/conflict based on poverty or conflicting ideologies.

Of course, the three main powers happily go to war with each other whenever they can or create proxy wars, selling weapons and arms to conflict-ridden states. With their big robots, Mobile Suits, they're pretty much uncaring about the status quo.

Enter Celestial Being, a paramilitary...well...Terrorist group dedicated to stopping conflict and war entirely by their own "Armed Intervention", intervening in wars and battles with their grossly overpowered Gundams which forces the three main powers to stop fighting each other face the common foe.

I think its weird because this is a pretty unique concept to the Gundam universe. I've seen my fair share of Gundam which usually consists of a main character "accidentally" stumbling into the cockpit of a overpowered Killing machine. Heck, the creators of this show actually made the main character a person of Middle Eastern origins with a remarkably dark backstory. Pretty ballsy on their part to create such a character in the current world's attitude about anything Middle Eastern.

So while the first half of season 1 consists of Celestial Being being all godly and untouchable, they get their asses kicked through a series of strange events and eventually go on the run thanks to a betrayal within the upper echelons of their organization. Season 2 is when things start getting very interesting.

Then there's the movie which I thought was pretty damn Alan Moore-ish but was not well received by the "hardcore" Gundam fans because the storyline consisted of "Aliens".

Its pretty good, I think if you could look pass the typical Shonen (young man) looks most of the characters have and bare with the usually Japanese anime over-the-top voices, you'll actually get a gem of a show with a pretty deep meaning.

Vibranium got banned?

What the hell? Was he someone we knew?
