Anybody watches Boardwalk Empire? I'm on episode 5 of season 1 and so far it's pretty damn good.

It's just another reason why HBO is worth every penny. The show only gets better with repeated viewings.

Last episode I was on was when Jimmy meets Richard and I was blown away by that guys performance.

Polanski has had such a ****ed up life. Holocaust survivor at a young age, Charles Manson and his crew killed his wife, and then molested some kids. What the hell, Roman?

He may not be, but his little part struck as a lot more than just a cameo, and referencing a modern character in 1969 like that seems to be setting that up to me. I think one of the problems Moore and O'Neill have with this issue is they'll have to deal with a lot more copyrighted characters as opposed to the public domain ones they've been dealing with up to now. It won't be a problem to gloss over, but it'll probably take a much closer idea to catch with 2009.

Anyway, did anyone here ever watch Kim Possible? I saw one of the seasons at Sam Goody and realized I'd never watched it. Is it worth watching, or is just more of a kid's show with not a whole lot for older audiences?

I used to watch it. It's on the sillier end of the "Action Cartoon" scale. The premise alone is pretty darn ridiculous: High schoolers Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable (yes, those are their names) lead secret lives as spies who fight international terrorists. The villains themselves are the type who come up with ludicrous plans to take over the world.

I liked it, but it really is more of a kid's show. If you ever saw Bruce Willis' Bruno The Kid, it's kinda like that.

Thoughts & Rambles on Carnage!

Roman Polanski’s latest film is an loose (keyword: loose) adaptation of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage play. Set in a single apartment with 4 actors, no music, no special effects and just being pure cynical black humor for the duration of 79 minutes what does it offer for the audience? Laughter, tons of laughter and a heck of a good time!

The movie stars Jodie Foster & John C. Really as Penelope & Michael Longstreet, while Christopher Waltz & Kate Winslet star as Alex & Nancy Cowan. Two couples, two parents and thus a setting of 4 people confronting each other because of their children’s behavior sets off an awkward beginning. It’s so spot on filmography how uncomfortable the situation is for everyone and how the Cowen family just wishes to leave, but due to “social norms” the Longstreets offer a cup of coffee and the awkwardness just continues until it hits straight to hell. This is pure carnage in every level.

To give a quick summary about these characters: Penelope Longstreet is the “we must think ourselves higher and become more greater and generous human beings”, Michael Longstreet is your standard cool relax chill no-arguing father, Alex Cowan is the brutal lawyer who doesn’t really give a **** about anything with his loving wife Nancy being the woman who acts nice but is just a nasty Diva herself. These 4 people put into same room arguing, is pure golden comedy. I loved the hell out of this film and me and my friend got into a really good audience that was just bursting with laughter. It was a really great way to spend a Friday evening.

That’s all there is to say about the film at its core. It demonstrates how great actors with a good vision director who knows how to pace, cut and tell a story can turn into such a wonderfully memorable experience , and as a big fan of Christopher Waltz I just loved how much charisma he oozed. All the actors give wonderful emotional expressions thru their faces, but its Waltz and C. Reilly who steal the show, they we’re just the most bastards relaxed horrible human beings out there.

I just can’t stop thinking how much of a good time I had, the way the whole movie ends is just a good cruel joke to these people.

I used to love that series

It's pretty fun really full of ridiculous villains and wacky-ness. I always used to enjoy it back when it was on the Disney channel

I watched it mainly for Shego and Dr.Draken back when I was younger. Not one of the best shows on the Disney Channel (Filmore was what I was more into) but I guess it was alright.

I think Avatar:TLA came out around the same time and essentially blew any other American animated feature out of the water. Well...TV wise anyway.

that whole alternate earth hydra thing was kinda cool, but the villian with ties to cap's time in ww2 thing is kinda played out.

Yeah, the new villains suck ass. Seeing Zemo as a henchman to them is even worse than seeing him lose a decade of character development in Brubaker's last arc with him.

I am so unhappy that they made Zemo such a two dimensional villain again after all the character development in Thunderbolts making him more complex

Shego and Drakken were always my favourites too Drakken's ludicrous plans and Shego's non stop sarcasm were hillarious

I had such a crush on Shego as well. She was all kinds of sexy and fabulous

i dunno, i still have hope that brubaker will find a way to fix that. but i've also lifted him to that nigh infallible level some folks grant morrison (get it) or moore.

i think you guys are reading into that too much. zemo is a lot like ultron or loki, he'll let you think you're in control but he's calling the shots the whole time. i really liked how they showed that in EMH, when enchantress tried to say she'd been playing him and the masters the whole time to which he replied that he knew and had been playing at playing along and then neutralized her.

Eh, even if he pulls some power play, that still just shuffles him from henchman to lead villain. Again. When he has no business being a villain to Cap after his time with the Thunderbolts and even less so after Born Better.
