i'm laughing at you Absinthe noobs right now. They sell that **** all over Michigan, the good stuff too. before it was legal in the US we used to go to Canada and drink it. ****ing awesome.

Yes, because I get all my news from your FB. Almost every site I've gone to has people talking about how empty the their theaters were. They might be talking **** but honestly I don't doubt it.

Especially when you factor in the cost of a 3-D ticket against a 2-D ticket for X-Men: First Class. Not a good sign for GL.

well, all of my theaters were showing both. Also Thor was in 3d as well.

I think the movie should be a comedy, i still can't get over the idea of apes winning humans with nuclear weaponry. :p Oh and i lolled at this: "I hereby declare Green Lantern the worst superhero movie ever made. And yes I count The Phantom and The Shadow as superhero movies. Green Lantern was the cheapest-looking 300 million dollar movie I've ever seen. Why didn't they give that money Africa? It had a couple of good moments, all coming from Mark Strong. But oh man." - Mark Millar.
The best put down I have heard from a film critic in he last 24 hours is "the director doesn't direct the movie he just points the camera and hopes actors get in the way" :funny:
Whoa, whoa, whoa! I loved The Shadow! :cmad:
The Shadow was great don't understand why it gets so much hate. Its better than Batman Forever IMO
Pizza Hut gets a bad rap. And I refuse to pay $13 for Papa Johns. I like Domino's too, especially with that new crust.
Pizza Hut is way more expensive than Papa Johns in the UK. Domino's is cheapest but its nasty. I wouldn't give a Domino's Pizza to my worst enemy.
I wish I knew where I could find some Absinthe.
Absinthe has never been banned in Britain so you can find it anywhere its not expensive either. I remember me and my friends getting wasted on it at my friends 19th birthday house party :woot:

I like the local pizza joints. The best pizza I ever had was this place called Arnie's. Arnie was this mini local mogul who had an awesome pizza joint, right next to a strip club and a car wash. you could get a couple of slices, get your ride washed, and haggle the price for an HJ in the champagne room without having to walk more than 50ft.

Convenient! :awesome:

Domino's is yummyriffic :atp:

Pizza Hut. I needs my stuffed crust.

Yep stuffed crust is more addictive than crack  I love it

The only good talking ape movie was Congo and that was because it had Tim Curry, Bruce Campbell and Winston from the Ghostbusters.

Gorilla Grodd is a joke

Gorilla Grodd is a joke

:wow:

Why would you say that. How can you hate him chamber music :csad:

Gorilla Grodd is awesome. So is Detective Chimp, believe that.

You know what isn't awesome? Green Lantern. It really is as bad as everyone is saying. None of the characters are well developed. Hal Jordan has one training session, where he gets his ass kicked and runs off home sulking. Then after a pep talk from Carol, he somehow becomes this amazing Green Lantern who can defeat Parralax, the being that destroys civilisations and kills Abin Sur, who is supposed to be the greatest GL ever apparently.

Seriously, it's terrible. The only good parts were on Oa... which we've all already seen in the trailers. Literally 90% of the movie is set on Earth.

Does anyone remember the name of the comic book that was a superhero parody made in 70s or early 80s that Grant Morrison clains Alan Moore literally ripped off to make Watchmen?

What was it about Drz can you remember anything about the plot

The Shadow awesome, The Phantom awesome

anyone hating on either movie is an a-hole

I dislike monkey superhero/villains. Can't explain why it doesn't really make sense.

For some reason I can accept a guy who turns into a angry giant green monster or a billionaire who dresses up like a bat and other comic book type stuff but then I see a talking gorilla who wants to take over the word and think that BS is just lame.

It shouldn't be anymore ridiculous than the other stuff but it just is to me. My Nerdity only goes so far.

I get ya. But seriously, Detective Chimp is awesome. He's like a pissed up, sarcastic Sherlock Holmes, in Chimp form.

Okay i guess that is fair enough

But one day you will kneel before Grodd!

:oldrazz:

Fabulous :atp:

The Shadow awesome, The Phantom awesome

Oh my gosh I adored The Shadow. It was an exciting fun love letter to pulp superheroes. It was funny and dramatic and I loved it

I had a huge crush on the Shadow. That laugh did things to me :O

I really hope we get a Thor sequel one day. I want to see a live action Enchantress :atp:

I would also love a live action version of Thor's battle with the Dark Gods to save Asgard. That was one of the first Thor stories I read and I loved it :hrt:

I want to see Odin vs Thanos. Like from Blood and Thunder.

Thanos vs Odin would be so cool  if they do ever have a live action Thanos I want Michael Ironside to do the voice

The Infinity Gauntlet is in Avengers so maybe we will see a live action Thanos in the movies

Well it's kinda already been confirmed Thanos is in Avengers. But I don't think he'll be a main villain. Probably just set up at the end for sequels.

That's pretty neat glad that Thanos is going to be getting some love in the Avengers films  hope we get some Thanos in the Avengers cartoon too
