I talked my mom into buying those weird bundles of comics at CostCo when I was a kid. I was months behind on everything and sometimes I only got one part of a long storyline, but that's how I got all of my comics as a kid.

I didn't get into comics until I was in my late teens.

I just watched this movie called "Rampage". It's about a kid who literally goes GTA on his town. Not much character development but the plan/scheme this kid concocts is amazing. And there's more shooting and murdering that any movie needs.

I meant when I was 17 I got a job, and that's when I started reading comics.

Tell you the truth, now that I got a job again, I'm not gonna start picking up comics as much as I used to. I used to have like 80 books on my pull list. At this point, I'm just gonna buy a few trades every couple a months and call it day. Try and make a dent in this crushing debt and increase my hooker budget.

The hooker thing (which is a real personal failing of mine) is why I buy more comics, toys and give more money to my mom. My logic is that if I spend too much of otherwise innocent crap, I'd be too cheap to go looking for *****.

Works so far. Had this huge urge around New Year's. Bought me a Masterpiece Prime for the money I could have spent on a threesome. In Prime I trust.

Dunno. I'm not sure if I want to go through the trouble of shipping, paying sellers' fees etc etc. I didn't get into comics to sell them.

Try and check out some other stuff.

My suggestion aswell, perhaps check something from Dark Horse? The 2 Umbrella Academy volumes, the vast delicious volumes of both Hellboy and B.P.R.D and so on, or you could check out older comics. I just finished Miller's DD run and it was absolutely fantastic street vigilantism superheroics! <3 Waiting for Tomb of Dracula volume 3 to arrive, which has been mostly positive run so far, but it has so much unneeded narration that slows down the pace.

I'm thinking of checking out Irredeemable, but they've got like 4 issue trades... Does Boom do any 12-issue Hardcovers or anything? =(
