Jason Isaacs also did Ra Al Ghul's voice in Under the Red Hood. Seems like WB likes reusing voice actors.

Isn't that basically like that Gotham Knights thing? Bunch of little vignettes loosely in the film's continuity or some ****? I wouldn't get too jazzed or anything. I remember people did for GK, and it more or less ended up pretty mediocre

i'm mostly worried about the art style for year one. currious to see how they adapt mazzucheli (one of my faves) to animation. there should be no shortage or hard shadows

Yeah, there is that for YO. I remember reading they were trying to keep that style best they could, but I don't see it happening too well. Another flaw in trying to adapt stories directly like that.

I have it pre-ordered, but remain skeptic. I don't think there's enough time in 60 minutes to do it properly. And the trailer was pretty weak

I actually really enjoyed Gotham Knights. It was really good if you ask me, explored Batman in a different way and I liked that.

Oh yeah, nvm then. I didn't care much for GK, remember thinking it was fairly dull. I don't even remember most of it.

Yeah, it is. I honestly think it's one of Morrison's best works of his entire career. And Frank Quietly is the probably the single best artist for the big superheroes.
