I really dig it think it is one of the best Superman stories ever

I have it pre-ordered, but remain skeptic. I don't think there's enough time in 60 minutes to do it properly. And the trailer was pretty weak

Hope they will keep most of the best parts of the comic book

Quietly? who draws everyones face like they have to poop

his run on 'The Authority' was bad, good thing the story was good enough to offset it

His hamburger face is greatly acknowledged as his main flaw, yes, but generally he's probably one of the best visual storytellers for superhero comics. And the hamburger face has decreased a lot lately, only a few times that I can remember it popped up in All Star

Yeah, I really can't think of an artist that is able to portray body language and the such so well. That spread in All Star when Superman makes his final will, and is sunken in his chair, sweating and obviously tired was stunning.

While I love this story I find Quietly's artwork to be absolutely horrendous. I understand that some people like that but I feel like none of his characters have a real shape, they kinda look like amorphous blobs. I would have much prefered some more strict pencilling on this story, it would have made it better in my opinion.

"Amorphous blob" sounds pretty damn apt. Quitely's people look like they're made of Play-Doh. Well done on getting the body language, dude. Now hows about you make the bodies look human too?

Oh, psst, that's crazy. Sorry, we're entitled to opinions and all, but his human characters have shape. He exaggerates to some degree often, but nothing like that.

To each his own. Maybe because I like the stylings of Jim Lee and others that have that similar sort of cross hatch look to it. His work just gets more praise than I understand. No denying he has talent and can do emotions well but he just doesnt do it for me. SO i'm sticking with amorphus blob. I don't like Chris Bachalo for very similar reasons.

Ugh. His art all blends into itself. His characters get lost in the background, even when they're standing in the foreground. And heaven forbid he draws an action sequence, because you'll be looking at a bunch of characters in a series of unrelated action-poses who barely interact with one another.

I like Jim Lee okay, not familiar with Bachalo.

You don't want to be Tron, oh and Blanty Ivan has been really solid latley but I feel him and Davis are similar but that isn't a bad thing.

Ive enjoyed his work lately....he probably does the best Sinestro out of the recent crop of artists
