I think it was extremely necessary. I'm trying to save people from catching Drz's excitement for a movie that is obviously going to be terrible and then being disappointed. It's a public service.

I'm doing the same. My younger co-workers are quite excited. I'm trying to open their eyes as to just how bad this flick will be.

Okay, serious question: Does anyone know what race relations in Japan are like? This was bugging me this morning in the shower for some reason. I mean, clearly Mr. Popo from Dragon Ball Z is a guy in blackface. But that cartoon came out in like the '80s and no one even objected to it when they imported it to our (very racially sensitive) US of A. I'm confuzzled.

I'm scared. As I should be. I was really disappointed with 'Wolverine' and reallysuper****ingdisastrously disappointed with 'The Last Stand'. So, I am weary. But I have a really good feeling about it. The movie stills, poster and logo have been great. The cast is the best one an X-Men movie's ever had. They have a solid director with a great crew and Bryan Singer is heavily involved. From what I hear, they're really trying to make a film on par with 'X2' if not better. And I hope to God they do.

The only time I've seen an actual black guy in anything Japanese is when a black American baseball player was in an episode of one of the sentai shows Power Rangers steals s*** is adapted from. He just ran around dodging fans and the villains while the heroes tried to help him.

My problem with First Class is that it's coming out this year and it just feels too rushed. Like the last two X-Men films that Fox has released.
