I'd watch Kyle Chandler in anything.
don't do it. you'll love ity to death only to get insanely upset when you realize it didn't get a second season.Anybody seen The Good Guys with Colin Hanks? Thinking about giving it a looksee.
'Cause we all know quality shows never get canceled.
You're a mode of wrongness
Well, I think the quality of shows on TV is higher than it's been in awhile, so I dunno. I usually wait for the home video releases to watch them though. More so for time than anything else.
Before Arrested Development is brought up by someone else, I want to say right now that that show sucked the most balls the hardest I've ever seen.
With that out of the way, there are still some quality TV shows that are successful.
I haven't bothered to follow a TV show religiously since Avatar The Last Airbender ended. Maybe Prison Break had me eating out of FOX's hand for awhile but Season 4 was a huge turn off for me.
Ah, Arrested Development. I tried to get into that show, but it just felt weird and quirky without actually being funny. The kind of thing you watch and think, "Yes, that's very amusing. I think I enjoyed that, but it didn't really make me laugh."
You know, like if Wes Anderson made a TV show-- only less pretentious and deadpan than anything ever made by Wes Anderson.
wait, so you don't like arrested development or wes anderson movies? i just don't understand you as a personAh, Arrested Development. well, i simply have to disagree with your tastes. every frame of willam dafoe in the life aquatic is the equal of any steve martin movie when he was good. wes anderson movies are the only movies in which a wilson brother is passable, except the beardy one in whip it, he was pretty good there, but that was a limited roleI'm a very complex person. Well, not really. I'm just not very good at articulating myself despite being a tad snobbish and wordy.
I saw the positive qualities of Arrested Development, but I didn't like it. It was the kind of thing I could watch once or twice and be done with, but not something I wanted to come back to on a weekly basis.
Similarly, I rarely watch a Wes Anderson movie more than once. I think I've only seen The Royal Tenenbaums more than once because it used to air on Comedy Central every week. It's an amusing movie, but I don't find it very funny.

I'm used to having people disagree with my sense of humor. There's some really popular stuff out there that I can't find funny at all, like Napoleon Dynamite and Jackass.
to me rushmore is the worst example of pretentiousness and deadpan delivery amongst his movies, except maybe the darjelling limited. love it to death, but i can totally see why other people wouldn't like that one.Fine. But what about Rushmore?
