She's not dead but I think that beats Ray Palmer's welcome to pain.

I can't believe they had Tawky and Hoppy cooked and eaten. I shouldn't be surprised, but goddamn. Someone needs to rescue the Marvels, and I'm not even kidding.

:csad:

I want a Shazam ongoing comic book like the Monster Society mini series where no one was cooked or eaten

Tawky Tawny is a fab cute talking tiger

I do not want him to be eaten

Hercules in the Underworld was on last night....it was the fourth of the TV movies before the series started

I dug that show but liked Xena more

Freddy's just flat-out murdering villains? I'm actually glad I didn't see Shazam at my shop now...

Is that Freddy or Billy

Either way it makes me :csad:

Hey kids! It's Captain Marvel!

See the continuing adventures of the Marvel family in Titans when we find out that Tawky and Hoppy have been killed, cooked, and eaten, Uncle Marvel succumbs to auto-erotic asphyxiation, and the Wizard is reveal to be a pederast. :barf:

What is this I don't even

This is not Captain Marvel

I'mma :cmad:

Is the us version of Shameless good Corp

The first episode was. I haven't actually watched the two that have aired since then because I've been busy and because I'm making my way through Rubicon right now and hate that it got canceled.

Rubicon was...more of a niche show...I see why people didn't tune in, I kinda liked it

I can understand why people didn't stick with it too. It's very cerebral--cool premise but lots of talking and thinking rather than action. People tend to want more The Bourne Identity or 24 when they hear "political mystery/thriller." But I love it.

For real. I'm on episode 9 right now. If this show really wanted to survive, Will would've shot at least 6 people by now instead of just looking at the gun dramatically.

you can do both....look at 'Smokin Aces', there is a **** ton of exposition in the first 40 minutes of that money...you fully understand what is going on, and then the shooting starts

Sounds like it's too political for a political mystery/thriller. People don't want to watch actual political maneuvering, they want to watch people beating the crap out of each other for the good of the country (which, if I may be so bold, is what real politics should be).

Jack Bauer/The Unit style

none of this "are we really doing the right thing?" hand wringing, more "punch that guy in the throat....for AMERICA!!!"

at least in TV land

Good point. (Economics is not my forté.) So how about this: There is still work going on, but having to work for a living is considered low-class. There's a massive social divide between the haves, whose ancestors invented useful s***, and the have nots, whose ancestors invented... I don't know, eating paste or something. Because there's plenty of useful stuff from throughout history to go around, the rich, elite "leisure class" lounges around all day and wants for nothing while the "working class" has to work almost slave-like hours just to make ends meet.

The protagonist is one such second-class citizen, working as a time auditor who, rather than just observing historical figures doing great things and filing his reports, becomes enamored with the creative process and is determined to create something of his own. That creation? Revolution.
as long as you promise to never use that last phrase ever again. ever.
Feel free. I'm never actually gonna do anything with the idea, it was just something fun to think about for a while when I was bored in the car. :)
i had an idea like that once, it started out with a reed richards like character creating a way to tap into other peoples thoughts and create an access point to the worldmind, but before i knew it it had turned into the matrix and i was very disappointed

In southern america we have br'a'o'll
never heard that one. i tend to stick to buddy or guy
she's ok....it's still the Erica Durance show IMO....Id push her byline...if you know what I mean
i think you're the first person i've ever heard of thinking that way. she's certainly attractive, but she's the least attractive hot chick on that show. chloe, lana, aquachick...all better looking imo

If this was what Congress was like, people might actually watch C-Span.
