"Wreak Havoc" by Skylar Grey's got strong shades of Ostrander's Deadshot. Speaking of that one, I think a Deadshot movie based on Deadshot: Beginnings would make for a great low-budget superhero flick.

I really like that ratta-tat-tat thing Grey's got going in the song.

They bought everyone cuban sandwiches and black beans and rice for lunch today. Delicious!

Just watched an interesting movie.

Last Knights (2015)

Director:
Kazuaki Kiriya (Casshern)

Actors;
Clive Owen, Morgan Freeman, Cliff Curtis, Sung-kee Ahn, Tsuyoshi Ihara, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Ayelet Zurer.

Based upon the samurai saga 47 Ronin.

Set in an alternate universe. Generally looks like a cross between medieval Europe and feudal Japan. You have western Europeans, blacks, Orientals, middle Easterners all living together as equals. Good acting, visuals, and fights. Not action packed until the epic ending. Good movie that was unknown to me until I found it at TARGET last night.

That's how I found Unforgiven - browsing the DVDs at Target, saw the box and thought it looked interesting. Eastwood as the director sealed the deal.

Just bought this:

I'd love to see the Jihad in the DCEU. Pretty nasty team of superhumans.

edit - love the geopolitics at play in this book.

Anyone know Steven Guttenberg? Tell him I miss him.

"He died"

Oh, I'll tell him myself then.

Watched Beetlejuice for the first time last night, was really fun, really great movie!

It's one of the movies I loved when I was younger, didn't like when I saw it again in my 20s.

shoot... Beetlejuice is a classic that will never be bad. Aziz... GO AWAY!

I'd like to see one of the shelled berserkers claim they had demons running all through them when the mods crack down on 'em.

PS

I got demons running all through me as I type this.

oh... i thought a funny gif would change your opinion :o :funny:

Beetlejuice is and always will be a damn classic. Aziz, you're walking a fine line in here as of late homie. Don't make me bump you from homie status to buddy or pal. :o

Husband and I have decided to quit the jobs and move to the mountains by this time next year.

Thank ****ing god. Government jobs are soul crushing and I can't stare at the prairies anymore.
