I think it began on YouTube.

well, technically it started in the american dub, which, i think than inspired some youtube video i never saw, but always assumed something funny happened in it.

but ya, that joke is evrywhere.... and im updating my status thingy now to remove itt:

I'd love to see Ray Park in the role, he's pretty much got the perfect height, and the look to boot.

To tell the truth, Rhys Meyers ticks me off.

I'm all for James McAvoy or Karl Urban

But as it's unlikely either of them will even want the part, I'd say an unknown should play him.

Hmm... can't say I like jonathan rhys meyers too much for the role. He's a bit too "pretty boy" for my liking and I've never exactly thought of Vegeta as "pretty" lol

I just wouldnt take him serious as vegeta. He just looks like some stupid GAP
Model. I personally dont like him and wouldnt want his stupid pretty boy look destroying the character. I think ben foster has the villian thing down very well
and he's a much more intense actor. Id like too see that chemistry with chatwin on screen because are very different, ones high and the other is on PCP

Have u ever watched an Episode of Tudors? He is Amazing in it and is Far from being a "GAP" Model... he has serious talent and one of few actors in hollywood right now that can actually pull of Vegeta.

Yes, I ve seen him in tudors, he's brilliant. I just dont see him being a good vegeta and i dont see the chemistry with chatwin. I personally think Ben foster is a better actor and can do a much more gritty and intense vegeta, he has great chemistry with everyone. Thats why ben is in just about every type of movie you can think of. All he needs is a perfect villian role, vegeta to me seems like his " joker" , I definitly think it would be his breakout role.
Keep in mind we should look at how vegeta has many versions of himself due to different casting. Foster would make a great Brian drummond vegeta.

I think he meant that the role of Vegeta would let Foster shine the same way Joker did Ledger.

sorry, replying back with an IPod can be short. I did mean to say that with Foster playing a character like vegeta, we'd get to see more of his villain side because so far Foster been only scratching the surface of an antigonist role in his films, Id like to see him play opposite of the good guy character. I think with the right direction, he would be great.

Channing Tatum - Has the physique and screen presence to pull off a Goku
Jonathan Reyes Meyers - anyone who can't see this guy as Vegeta was never a serious fan of the show IMHO. This guy has it all: arrogance, presence, raspy aristocratic voice, (most importantly) acting skill.
Bill Goldberg - He's a Nappa clone and since Nappa dies early on, he would have just enough lines in the movie to pull it off without ruining it.
Ben Kingsley - I've seen him do it all.... from drama, to comedy, to gangster mentality. I think he could really pull off the old skirt chasing Master Roshi (who is also in retirement btw) while showing the depth and sentimentalism that Roshi does when reminiscing about Goku.
Gary Oldman - Commissioner Gordan meet Dr. Briefs.
Chris Judge - Piccolo calls for an actor who can say volumes with a look or demeanor, and no one does it better than Stargate's Te' alc.
Kevin McKidd- Since King Vegeta would only be shown either at the beginning to set up the story or via flashback to set up the story, McKidd would be the choice.
Kristin Kreuk - When I think of Chi Chi, I think of a country backwoods girl full of innocence with that girl-next-door look. Kristin has that down to a science from her days as Lana Lang. Plus she can kick serious butt when she has to.
Ernie Reyes Jr. - Initially I didn't see it. Then I saw him in Red Canvas. Krillin, welcome home.
Jack Black - Perfect Yajarobi
Shannyn Sossamon - Still up in the air on this one.

Ben Foster is a great choice for Vegeta, he was pretty malevolent in 3:10. Wonder what he would look like with darker hair though.

I think the best choice for Vegeta would totally be Justin Theroux. Just one look at the pics that were posted of him and you can tell he is the one for it. He even has a super huge widow's peak.
