The Villain of Tomorrow Thread

Yeah, but I don't think that'd be a good comparison. Aquaman 2 was a very troubled production.

And then the release even more so.

Brainiac would be my guess just got the story potential.

Unless Gunn wants a less obvious choice and wants to take Mongol and reinvent him.

It would be hilarious if it was Zod. I would like to see bloodsport make a return at some point. Rounding out Superman's rogues gallery on film and finally getting to see metallo, parasite and bizzaro would be cool. Given that Luthor made a clone, those villains are more likely to show up somewhere down the line as Luthor creations.

I think the villain of Man of Tomorrow will probably come out of one of those portals in Peacemaker’s father’s pocket dimension doors. We will probably get a glimpse in episode 8. I wonder if Waller will finally show up. She would be a good side villain in Man of Tomorrow.

Anyone, literally ANY villain but Zod. I heard someone suggesting how “perfect” he would be for this and I got infuriated.

But preferably a SUPERMAN villain. Not Darkseid or some other villain associated with other characters. Brainiac is my obvious pick but I’ll take Metallo (he’d be my second pick), Mongul, Parasite, even Mxy over someone mostly associated with other superheroes or teams like the JL. That said, I would take Kite Man as the villain over ***ing Zod again.

Cliff Burton mysteriously returns from the dead, and challenges Brainiac on a bass duel. Which of course even Superman by then had realised it's the only way to save the world. Brainiac seems to hold on for a while, but when Cliff shows his real skill - mastering harmonies - the defeat is final. Superman invites Cliff to Justice Leage, but he hesitates since he now feels it's his mission to steer back Metallica to when they were really great.
That last bit of art is horrible. Kara is too busy trying to pretend to be a model while Clark is protecting Kandor from Brainiac.
Totally agree. Also an example of bad art: Eg her left leg (or really her lower body over all) doesn't make any sense at all anatomically, and I usually oversee stuff like that when it comes to comics art. Btw, did Supergirl actually had skimpy suits/dresses like this at some point in comics? I think I've seen some cosplayer looking kinda like this, but don't remember it otherwise. Well, whatever..

On an on topic note though, I feel like a boring predictional person here but: Can we please have Brainiac this time? Please?

That pic is from an actual Superman comic, so yes.
