The Dark Knight The Voice and Laugh of the Joker...

I know. Producing a fake laugh would require a considerable amount of training. It's not just something that you can do for the hell of it- it's an art. You must practice and develop your vocals. The laugh sounded insanely scary, though. It just defined the word "crazy," and I can't stop saying this.

I like the fact that his voice is not high-pitched... I can`t imagine a Nolan Joker, in which the Joker speaks like a cartoon! He uses his voice like Batman

His deep voice is just another reason why Ledger was given the role. I think a high-pitched voice might have damaged the character a little. Deep voices are much scarier than high-pitched voices. If you're in your home, and you here someone whispering "GET OUT!" with a high-pitched voice, you aren't going to be very afraid. But if someone whispered "GET OUT!" in a deep voice, you are going to be very afraid. Deep voices rock.

Oh yeah.... :woot:
In my opinion Joker won`t laugh too much in the movie, but the scenes he will do it, will become that ****ing scary...

Less is more. The Joker should only laugh when his victims are in considerable pain. Little giggles here and there won't hurt, though.

I really want a deep voiced Joker, although Ledger seems to have highered the pitch somewhat, he's got that cool smoker's gravel voice. Its got alot of personality to it, Bale's is pretty nondescript in comparison

Yes, Joker only laughs before he kills his victims. Or he laughs about Batman, about his outfit and his efforts to protect these little "Gotham sheep"

Or the Joker even laughs at the mere thought of causing someone considerable amounts of pain and suffering. This is exactly what we are going to see in TDK.

Maybe in the end there will be a laugh of frustration, if his plans fail. This would be a bitter end for him, Batman laughing about him

The voice is perfect....his first line is probably more of his real voice. The 2nd line was obvious moching of Dent, hence the politician like line.

Why is the laugh so short....it's like a second....i want to hear a longer laugh darnit

"Starting Tonight, People Will Die! I'm A Man Of My Word!" * Joker Jumps Out Of Nowhere, Laughing* "Hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

*fade black to...*

THE DARK KNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SUMMER 2008!!!!!!!!!!

what do u think of THIS?

I think he sounds good, but then again unlike some people, I never expected him to be the hitting people with giant hammers, shooting "BANG" guns to intimidate people kind of joker. They said right from the beginning we would be getting a dark and sadistic joker, and I think this voice matches that kind of character perfectly. It doesn't sound like Ledger really either, which is a plus too, it helps you think of the character more as a seperate entity which I really like. Just like Christian Bale's "Batman" voice sounds really different.

He sounds like a old western joker for some reason. But thats cool, i think its funny that way.

just heard Ledger.....perfection in my opinion. That laugh freaked me out!

Do you think, that STARTING TONIGHT PEOPLE WILL DIE and I'M A MAN OF MY WORD are from two seperate scenes. The reason I say this is, because his voice in the first lines is a bit higher, and more "normal" than the other. The last one could be when he has had his "accident". What do you think?
