Did he? Them dudes was shifty as hell.

It's the end of the world. You can't really trust anybody.

Definitely not them mofos.

Rick is in no way worse than Shane.

Humans need to band together and survive. Human greed, ego, paranoia, and being a BAMF has no PLACE in a zombie end of the world place.

Yes, they were shifty, but he was an ass. Be truthful.

God, Rick is such a hypocrite.

  • Rick and his crew find a nice farm.
  • Nice farm owner doesn't want them to stay.
  • Rick finagles and guilt trips his way into staying.
  • Nice farm owner lets Rick and co stay.
  • New people want to stay on farm too.
  • Rick: "Sorry, we're full up."

Anyway, this episode was much better than anything in the first half of the season.

Guys I don't mean to spam, but I did an animation contest for valentines day and took a lot of influence from The Walking Dead. The comics mostly, but if I win I get an ipad. Would be awesome if fellow zombie fans and hype members put a vote in for me! It's a Facebook contest and only takes a click.

It's called. "Night of the Giving Dead".

I liked this episode. Was worried about the direction of the show after Darabont, but it was good. I like to see Rick changing like he does in the comics. Was worried it was a little fast, but I like how the new show runner put it when Rick killed the two jersey guys on Talking Dead. It was a cop scenario. Rick asked them to calm down. The guy went for his gun. As a cop, this is what he was trained to do. I love that.

Rick is in no way worse than Shane.

Shane....I'm flip flopping on what he did. To Otis.

Rick...handed it poorly. And oh look, their friends arrive to look for them and get into a shoot out. Good Job, Rick...

I wouldn't want those guys on my farm, either. I don't really blame Rick. At this point, it's kill or be killed. And those guys did reach for their guns first.

I completely agree with what Rick did. Those guys were no good from the start, Rick sensed that, those guys were nothing more than scavengers imo they would've just taken over the farm kicked the rest out, stolen whatever food and supplies they had. Plus the way he killed them was just way too cool to hate. Loved this episode

Maybe they were thinking the same thing about Rick and the other two.

So, the last scene was great. The episode was a good start for stuff to come...

...but I really didn't like what happened with Lori. Did not need to happen.

So.....

Pretty sure Hershel's daughter? The blonde one, got bit and is showing the symptoms of becoming a walker. Why the hell isn't Lori or anyone else from the group noticing it? They learned of all the signs from the stadium didn't they? She had to have been bitten right? I'm freaking out because NO ONE is noticing she's becoming a FREAKIN WALKER!

Those guys were definitely bad news. Just listen to the crap they were spewing.

They would have tried killing all the men and raping the women and stealing everything of value at the farm.

Those guys were definitely bad news and Ricks judgement was right on. Great episode.

You're right, they don't.

And Rick just got rid of two fine examples of them.

I'm glad Rick killed those guys, at least the fat one. Dude wasn't even housebroken.

How do you know that?

Because Rick and Glenn go out.

And Lori decides...oh I'm going to leave and go get them. She couldn't just stay at the farm and be patient? Should be known that it could take a while to get Hershel to come back to his senses.

I was thinking the same thing, but wouldn't they see the bite marks? I don't want her to be a walker, she was good looking and we haven't seen enough of her yet. :woot:

I want to see Hershel shoot some people in the next episode. His point of view is changing and I wanna see him take it to the extreme.

I like that one of the tensest scenes of the show in recent memory featured human bad guys and no zombies. Shows how dangerous living people can be.

I'm thinking Otis' wife is in denial, and is gonna try and cover the bite mark up. She's been rubbing me the wrong way since she broke the chickens legs and her face when she saw Sophia come out the barn, i also think she knew about that. Come on, husband and wife dont talk about who the hell they put in that dang barn? She's incredibly fishy to me.

yeah, I've been a little suspicious of her. She's shockingly absent, considering how major of a character Hershel has been. Heck, all of the farm people besides Maggie and Hershel have been suspiciously background.

I am being truthful. The second they started asking about the Women should have shown you they couldn't be trusted. You bring them back to the farm, their friends show up, massacre the men, rape the women, and it's all your fault.

Greed, ego, paranoia, all that stuff is humanity. Knowing that is how you survive in such a world.

What are you basing this on?

Them mentioning that they wanted some "puss" along with trying to force Rick and company to tell them where they were staying. The fat guy taking a piss in the bar and their overall behavior and language. This was all in a few minutes and they did everything they possibly could to seem like trouble.

The skinnier guy jumping over the bar prepping himself for cover as he was preparing to shoot Rick.

I can't see how you wouldn't be able to tell they were up to no good quite frankly.
