According to wikipedia, Hell on Wheels got 4.3 million for its premiere.

So, yeah..... sucks to be Kevin Smith. :o

At least Laurie doesn't ***** as much in the comics when Rick goes off all the time. Even still, when she actually went to look for him and took action, **** happened to her lolz.

Dumbest thing about the Lori situation is that Maggie knows where the bar is and could have went with her. Lori knows this because she was in the room when Maggie tells the group where it is. The logical step should have been Lori taking Maggie along but of course that would have meant the car dodging the zombie and the writers needed to have Lori in a car crash.

So dumb.

*****es be crazy. :o

Didn't Lori ask Maggie to go? She didn't want to because she was huffy over Glenn.

And forget that she should've brought Maggie with her. She shouldn't've been going at all. What was the point?

To demonstrate to us her fine driving skills.:hehe:

Man they're really making poor Hershel hands busy. I wonder who's going to have to patch her up once they get back to the farm. Geez.

Rick was such a badass at the end with the shootout. :word:

A little superglue and duct tape and she will be right as rain. After that display of stupidity I see no reason to waste good medical supplies on her.

They got about 2-3 million viewers per episode.

Yeah it did decline but did better than Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Killing. It was also without The Walking Dead for half of their season as a lead in. Breaking Bad may be AMC's best show but it struggles in the ratings.

Now the key is the maximize the huge numbers this series pulls in.

Comic Bookmen needs to grow in the next few weeks. I don't think AMC would cancel it, just move the show to a Tuesday night or something where they could do their reality shows. It has a bare bones budget so even at 2 million its doing good.

Talking Dead is another bare bones show that pulls in good demo numbers, it will stick around.

But wow at The Walking Dead. All you see is complaining about the show from critics and fans who are divided into camps of we want zombie attacks or character drama but people still keep on coming back. Everyone here must know people who you're surprised to learn watched TWD.

Wonder if AMC will bump the episode order to 20 for season three... They could even do an 18 episode order; 6 episodes in the fall, 6 in the winter, 6 in the summer and help be lead ins for shows.

Whoever was at NBC and couldn't get a deal done must be kicking themselves.

This was also up against the 2nd highest rated Grammys of all time (due to Adele and Whitney Houston's death) so the show could do even better next week.

TWD is just

Gotta say I'm loving the dynamic & friction growing among the factions within the group. And for the record, I side with Rick & Dale. And yes, it seemed Rick was on full police guard with the Philly boys, and good thing. But, it looks like it brought them more trouble. It is amazing in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, other people are still your worse enemy.

As for not inviting those guys to the farm besides not trusting them, I think Rick was respecting Herschell as it wasn't it his place to offer the farm to rest.

This is one of those shows that I want to stop watching because I'm bored but can't because part of me hopes it will get better :/. Although, lori's absurd car crash did make me laugh lol

I think it was a good episode, but the 1/2 season premiere should have had more action and bang.

did you feel that way the first season, too? Or just the second?

First season was better than the second, but I'm overall very disappointed with the way they chose to do the show. However, I felt that with the first season, even when I disliked the plot changes, at least it was more entertaining than this season.

I was impressed with fat philly dudes ability to maintain his mass in all this zombie apocalypse chaos. Are philly cheese steaks like twinkies? Last forever?

This episode reminded me of something I had long forgotten. Despite that do gooder attitude and awe shucks shuffle, Rick is a deadly muther@@@@@@
