Carl only started crying because this death is on him

It was both - the death of Dale and that it was the zombie he didn't kill when he had the chance.

It could be the same price Rick will likely pay later for not killing Randall when he had the chance.

First off:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Dale was one of my favorite characters! The one standing up to retain humanity! My daughter and I literally yelled NOOOOO!! when the zombie jumped Dale.

It was like killing the "Hurley" of the show.

His death actually felt very emotional, I teared up. :csad:

OK, now I have to read the thread...

The rumor going around months ago was DeMunn was giving AMC Hell internally for how they handled firing Darabont (Since they've been friends/collaborators for years) and was actively trying to get off the show. Ditto another cast member... who I won't name... [BLACKOUT]i.e. not Jon Bernthal.[/BLACKOUT]

As more of a fan of the comic, officially screw this show. As one of my faovrite characters, what a stupid way to go and so early. And yet T-Dawg lives....

Holy ****, I did not see that coming. Especially at the end of a particularly dull episode.

I think this has damaged Carl forever.

I think rather than introduce Ben and Billy, they are simply combining Ben's characteristics with Carl and sending Carl down the sociopath road.

Yeah. I hate when TV shows have settings.

Also, anyone who doesn't like Dale or Carl is an awful person.

I don't like Dale mainly for his holier than thou attitude, its like the guy doesn't realize the situation and seems to think the same rules and laws apply to a world that is in a Zombie Apocalypse. Only reason he lasted as long as he did was because he rode the groups coat tails and mooched the whole time. Good riddance Dale.

haha i have to agree, why is T-Dog still alive?

Randall would be the shows hero if he killed Lori & Carl to piss off Rick

I agree with Sawyer. I think Shane will either kill Randall then make it look like he tried to escape or stage an escape so that the group kills him.

I haven't read the comic books (I'm waiting until after the series), so I don't even know who they are. :oldrazz:

I gotta say, I read those spoilers so I knew what was going to happen, it still sucks that Dale died. Too bad Darabont was fired.

Those rumors are true, someone already posted screencaps of both characters.

Just out of curiosity, why doesn't The Walking Dead have it's own forum? It seems odd that there isn't one considering the popularity of the show and comic.

I don't mind Lori and Carl. They are Rick's humanity. I don't want to see Rick become like Rick of the comics (a complete psychopath who is obsessed with survival for himself and Carl at all costs). I like that Rick is holding onto his humanity and I cannot see either of them dying on the show and Rick still having it. What works in the comics doesn't always work on TV and I think Rick's characterization of the comics would be one of those things. Keeping Lori and Carl around is a necessity, IMO.

In short, a spoiler from the comic.

They were twin boys who lost their parents at different points. One killed the other and acted like it was something completely normal. When nobody could bring themselves to kill the surviving kid, Carl snuck out in the night and shot him himself.

I can see if Randall does something ****** to the group. That will be another thing that Carl is responsible for & he may want to kill himself after indirectly killing two people that he might have considered his friends

Um. No.......

Between Carl wandering off to play with a zombie and Carl going to the barn to watch his dad shoot a guy, what the hell is Lori doing?

Who is the third character that dies ?

The rumor was [BLACKOUT]Laurie Holden (Andrea)[/BLACKOUT] was the other actor all over AMC for their mistreatment of Darabont and wanting out.

Also sorry to see the Dale hate on this thread. But, seriously, he was the only one trying to keep humanity in the group. And now he's gone.

:argh: Ben is essentially a little sociopath who becomes convinced that anyone who dies will come back so he [blackout]murders his twin brother.[/blackout]
