Does anyone else get the feeling in the preview that [blackout]Shane walking up with the bloody nose, saying that the kid clocked him in the face[/blackout] is a line of BS? I get the feeling that [blackout]Shane cuts the kid lose, tells him to run his ass off, busts up his own nose to make it look like the kid did it, and sets the group on him[/blackout].
I thought that too.

yeah, how did Dale not see that walker? There was nothing for the walker to hide behind. It was basically an open field.

I really wish someone would get some sense into Carl. When a kid keeps disobeying orders from adults and puts himself in danger, he needs to be put in his place.

Such an intense episode and there was only one zombie. I love that. All the acting was top notch (minus that God line Carl delivered.) I had to laugh after catching Shane's reaction when Rick let the kid live. I was thinking that the kid was going to tell Rick what Shane was telling Andrea about taking over.

I still think that Carl is starting to show some sociopathic tendencies. The world around him is starting to shape him. Just like it did to Shane. Keep in mind, Shane was a good man before all of this started....

I wonder if the death of Dale means an expanded role for Hershel. I think a lot of people have been assuming that when they leave the farm, Hershel will be dead or written out. I wonder if Hershel is going to become a permanent fixture and fill Dale's role? I'd be fine with that. I really like how they've developed Hershel.

That's exactly what they're calling him on Talking Dead right now, and it's true. I think he's trying to close himself off. After Sophia, he doesn't want to have connect to anything more. It hurts too much to lose it. It's not that much different than what Darryl is doing right now too. It's easier not to care.

I like Herschel's transition too, I hope he sticks around.

On another note, Daryl is going to be at the Chiller Theater convention in my town next month. Nice! :woot:

So, I'm sure the main credited cast will get a shake-up, with the obvious subtraction. Think any characters will be added?

I always found that hard to believe, yeah I know Zombies themselves are hard to believe but a rotting corpse has the strength to dig it's fingers into a mans stomach? I don't and never will buy that.

I think part of the scene by the river was to establish that walker as particularly strong. It was more intact than other walkers and it was able to pull it's leg out of the muck, whereas the others couldn't.

I tend to lean to Paroxysm's way of thinking. Seeing a decaying zombie rip into a man's stomach with its bare hands kind of made me do a double take. Sure, he was relatively intact and strong for a zombie, but he's still a zombie. It all kind of reminded me of Day of the Dead, and its ridiculously over-the-top gore and death scenes ("Choke on 'em!"). This wasn't as extreme as that, but it still seemed a bit weird to me.

So glad Dale ate it. He's been super annoying the past several episodes.

Carl's an idiot and so is Rick for even saving the guy when Herschel and Glenn were stuck out there. Should have just left him there and went on his way and all of this could have been avoided.

Say what you will about Shane but once again he proves himself to be right. [BLACKOUT]I'll miss him once this season is over.[/BLACKOUT]

Really sad ending for Dale and I agree with those that say it was an incredibly harsh and hard scene to watch. Agonizing & long deaths are terrible to watch.

:argh: Ben is essentially a little sociopath who becomes convinced that anyone who dies will come back so he [blackout]murders his twin brother.[/blackout]

Actually, he's not wrong...from what we know, people come back after death in the comics.

Shane hasn't proved jack ****. :o

I think it's awesome that both times members of the group have had to kill another member, we've gotten a camera angle that goes right down the barrel of the gun.

When they had to shoot Sofia, down the barrel of the gun. Shooting Dale, barrel of the gun. I love that.

This is the best show on televison IMO. Can't wait for next weeks episode.

Not sure if it's been discussed (probably has) but in the clip for next week, when T-Dog was walking up to the bar, did he say "The Governor called, you can go" or something along those lines? I was only half paying attention, sadly.

I brought it up, and quickly got lambasted for thinking something that logical simply because the governor hasn't been introduced yet. :whatever:

What? What clip?
