Really excited for this...I hope it's way better than season 2. The game really lifted the bar for story telling for me, so I hope the show can impress me more.

I did a marathon of season 1 and 2 a few weeks ago. I don't know about anyone else but Season 2 flowed much better than I remembered when watching the entire season in one sitting.

This show is like that. It's got such a slow pace that to have a week in between eps makes it harder to watch. Just as well to buy the season and enjoy it in one lomg gulp.

I marathoned season 2 over the last 24 hours and really enjoyed it, obviously I avoided the pacing issues many seemed to have. There were some really powerful scenes throughout but none more so than when zombie Sofia came out of the barn.

It was a tough season for Rick with a constantly nagging wife, creepy son, whiny Carol and betrayal at the hands of his best friend. Glen faired better by ending up with the lovely Maggie! He'll just have to get over the death of Dale who's constant moralizing was irritating anyway. I also liked the development of Andrea.

I checked the SDCC promo out for season 3 and it looks awesome! I'm a little dissapointed that the hooded ninja is revealed so quickly, but this Governer guy and his palace seem intriguing, not to mention Rick and the group attempting to take the prison, but how is Merle still alive?

I loved that!

Shane is going to be a miss, sure he was a dangerous bag of rage, but he was a complex and interesting character.

My favourite character! Looks like he'll be Rick's wingman this season but it will be interesting to see how he reacts when he discovers Merle is still alive.

Michonne was hooded because they didn't have an actress cast for the role at the time that was filmed.

Merle is alive because when you see Rick and crew following Merle's trail in the Vatos episode, you see that the kitchen was used for cauterization. Not to mention their van was missing.

I remember that big Mearle tease they gave us last season in the trailer for that episode with Daryl in the woods. damn it, they better not play with my head this season.
